Beautifully elegant with great service. Each room is distinctive. The hosts were extremely attentive and accommodating. Very clean-I walked around the inn on my stockinged feet. Please try this wonderful old inn.

Dear Susan,
Thank you for choosing our inn and spending time with us. We loved your review and will always welcome your sock footed explorations about the three floors anytime! We are happy that the Freedom Room was comfortable for your visit, it's a great primitively decorated accommodation that reminds us of our colonial times. Your next stay will have to incorporate a stay in Glen Junction or Madison Boulder to see the other side of the inn as well. In the meantime we count you as a friend and hope to have you back sooner than later!

I spent just 1 night at The Bernerhof Inn and it was just a wonderful experience. Steve & Katey were warm, friendly, & welcoming and really went above and beyond the norm to ensure that everything was as perfect as it could be. It was really special to attend a wine & cheese reception and mingle with the artists whose beautiful original paintings grace the walls of the inn and are even available for purchase. I will have to return every few months to see what's new on the walls!
I can highly recommend the linguica omelette with homefries - fluffy and delicious and the potatoes were not heavy or greasy!

Room Tip: Rooms on the north/back side of the building may be a bit quieter - I didn't hear anything but f...

Dear Friend from Manchester:
Your review was breakfast of champions for us. Thank you very much for the kind words on the visit you had with us. Our Linguica omelettes are definitely a hit but be warned; there are some gourmet goodies coming up that rival in taste as well. Guess you will need to come judge those as well!

Our Artists in Residence are great friends, a reception to learn whats coming up was a perfect pre-spring event. Let's get some warmer weather and the paint on the canvas whenever you're ready!

Thank you again for staying at our inn and we'll welcome you on the front porch with an easel in tow anytime you get the urge.

I had a delightful stay at Bernerhof Inn! It was a first encounter visit and I found Steve and Katie the owners, sincere, polite and accommodating. The rooms were roomy and charming. The common areas welcoming and the food absolutely delicious.
A wonderful treat was finding original paintings in watercolor and oil in teh common areas and hallways at Bernerhof Inn. All available for purchase and all painted by NH artists. I was informed that the work is rotated out every few months so I will be pleased to see the new work on my next visit.; YES!!- I will be going back over and over again!

Room Tip: Rooms / suites can accommodate 1-4 persons for traveling families. Each room has a wonderful theme...

Dear Alicia: We are very proud of your post on the experience you had under our roof. Thank you very much for choosing our venue and we couldn't agree more, the art we're fortunate to share is outstanding. When we delved into the Plein Air Art scene, paintings created by the light of day outside - we knew we had to have them in our Bed and Breakfast! The beauty around our Bernerhof Inn is so amazing, if someone is talented enough to capture a time and day in the mountains then for sure, we would grace our walls with their efforts!

Your compliments on our food and overall comforts meant alot to us and you're welcome to revisit us anytime. We will be featuring some new items ( can be purchased as well) every season so four visits a year with us may be in order for the art lover!

Thank you again and don't be a stranger, we welcome you back anytime.

Our stay at the Bernerhof was more than we could have expected. The room (The intervale) was well decorated and the Inn keepers were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty and the eggs benedict were the "best' I've ever had. We also enjoyeed dinner at the Inn and the menu gave us many options to choose from and the "Chicken Schnitzel" didn't disappoint. We will be returning to this wonderful Inn.

Dear Mark and Alicia: We had a great time having your company last weekend! Thank you for choosing our B&B as your quality time together home away from home. I recall our staying up a wee bit late playing games and having a ball with some Attitash folks; now new friends made. Thank you for the title of "Best Eggs Benedict" ( the secret is the lime juice!) and your other dining mentions as well. We love having guests stay who morph into friends and you're definitely in the club now....

Have a great spring in Londonderry and come up for a summer lazy river Saco Float in a few months.

Everything about the Bererhof was way beyond our expectations! The room was very comfortable and furnished uniquely with style. The hotel itself is very inviting with a lovely afternoon tea with freshly baked cookies. The breakfasts are magnificent and very generous. The bar (for that evening tipple) tempts you to stay for just one more and the location of the hotel tempts you to stay a little longer(which we did). To top it all off,Steve and Kate(our hosts) are a friendly.helpfull couple who obviously love what they do and their pride in their hotel and the service they provide is evident. I feel that we arrived as strangers and left as friends!

Room Tip: Each room is uniqe and individually styled.Do yourself a favour.check it out on the net,you will wan...

Dear Karma14u: What a great time for US to have you visit! We certainly remember your staying with us and even extending another night prior to heading to Salem...making your friendship was special for us and even more so we thoroughly enjoyed the laughs and sometimes room service delivery for a certain VIP who was considering missing our breakfast! We had none of that...Our hope is that we contributed to some permanent memories of your time together in our country! You were great ambassadors on Australia's behalf as well - we may show up with our own luggage before you know it.

Until then, thank you so much for these kind words and for having our inn be your headquarters for the Northern leg of the United States Vacation '14!

We are only an email away if we can help you bounce back sooner...

The Bernerhof Inn is the most peaceful and friendly place to stay. The innkeepers, Steve & Katey make you feel right at home and absolutely love what they do. They cook every night, nice & fresh, and even have live entertainment! Guests can even take a cooking class. My best friend & I have travelled all around but have never felt so welcomed. We also had a facial and massage at Katey's Serenity Wellness Studio really was the cherry on top of the perfect sundae.Their hospitality and cozy feel throughout the inn make the Bernerhof your home away from home. The living room next to the dining area boasts a beautiful fireplace, along with every room in the inn. We will definitely be returning very soon & I highly recommend everyone to check this place out. You will be thrilled!!
K.D.

Room Tip: The Kersarge Suite & The Josiah Butler are gorgeous!!

Dear Karina: from our first reservation conversation to the confirming texts together we knew that you were in for a great visit from CT. Your awesome review made our Monday as we are happy that your intended special visit would come to fruition! Thank you for the Serenity Spa and dining golden 'stars' we earned on your recap, it's great to read!

Rumor has it that someone else in the family will be visiting in May, we can only hope to have as much fun with them as your first stay was, we are ready!

Thank you both again for the special recap email you sent and rest assured, you have friends in The White Mountains anytime you want to unplug and unwind under our roof...
