No complaints at this little hotel, will definitely be doing another quick trip to NH this summer and will stay at Golden Apple. This place was totally revamped and looked/smelled brand spankin'. Affordable and boutique, especially for the Conway area! Awesome job Golden Apple!!

This was our third stay at the Golden Apple, although we regularly stay at their sister property The Golden Gables Inn (North Conway). This is an excellent, affordable and immaculate motel. We stayed in one of the king fireplace suites and it was excellent. As always, the rooms were spotless with terrific amenities, especially considering the price, including in-room coffee makers, sink, fridge and microwave, granite counter-tops, as well as a sleep sofa, flat screen TV with numerous cable channels (including the local outdoor channel-a favorite). There are separate entrances via the interior corridor and the outside. Take advantage of the mid-week rates. This is close to several major ski areas and attractions, restaurants, and shopping, yet it's still quiet and relaxed. The staff is excellent too. All-in-all, a terrific buy for the money. If it's sold out, try the Golden Gables Inn, which is equally as nice, but much larger. Can't miss!

Room Tip: There are a wide selection of room options, including the family suite, jacuzzi suites, rooms with f...

As a NH native I can tell you that 95% of the lodging in northern NH is old and dated. Not this place! Granted it is a road-side motel, but you simply will not find any other room this size this clean for this value anywhere in the MW Valley-period! We stayed for a 4 day ski vacation in Unit 2. This is a two-room family suite above the check-in area. It was awesome to have a separate master BR and BR for both us & the kids-2 full baths! Tiled and all brand-spanking new.
Very close to Attitash and close enough to Wildcat & North Conway.
We will definitely stay here again. Fridge & microwave, maid service, plenty of room for a family if 4. Very comfortable bed & pillows mine felt like a rock when we got home. :/ HAHA

We stayed at the Golden Apple Inn at the beginning of October during our honeymoon road trip of New England. We had wanted to experience a variety of accommodation, from hotels to guesthouses (thanks AirBnB!) to B&Bs but we weren't exactly sure what to expect from a motel. They are always portrayed as being quite seedy in films but I'm pleased to say the Golden Apple Inn was nothing of the sort. Our room was immaculate having, it appeared, recently been renovated. Sadly we were not allocated one of the rooms with a jacuzzi, which was disappointing, but we did have two king-sized beds, a large bathroom, and a small kitchenette with a microwave, refridgerator and coffee machine. We had planned to eat out at one of the nearby restaurants but it was Friday night and they were absolutely heaving, so we got a couple of pizzas "to go" and a bottle of wine and took them back to our room. Despite being close to the road, it was incredibly quiet at night and we didn't hear a thing from the rooms next to us. The reception opened a little late the next morning, which meant we were hanging around waiting to check out, but we soon got on our way to the Franconia Notch State Park and the next destination on our honeymoon road trip.

Room Tip: There's not a lot of things to differentiate the rooms at the Golden Apple Inn. We were right in...

On the exterior, The Golden Apple has the appearance of a nice motel, but it is so much more than that. The office area is beautiful, and so was our room. We had one of the jacuzzi rooms, and it was great. Beautifully decorated, VERY clean, nicely laid out, and well appointed. Very pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was, despite facing 302. The value was amazing. Great location for this inn, just outside of the chaos of Conway, but very convenient to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. We were there during a snowstorm and we were pleased with how frequently the driveway was plowed. Also impressed with the appearance of a shovel by the sidewalk so we could all dig out our cars. We would stay here again without hesitation.

While in the process of packing up our house for a move we spent 3 nights here over Veteran's Day weekend. The room was spacious, had a frig., microwave and coffee maker and nice bath with quality toiletries. The doors opened to the parking lot and inside hallway but surprisingly there was little noise from the road. Although it was past foliage season and before ski season the room was only $75 a night with AAA. More expensive rooms have a Jacuzzi but young children are not allowed to stay in those rooms for obvious safety reasons. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and I would highly recommend this location for anyone coming to Mt Washington Valley for vacation/sightseeing/outdoor activities.

Room Tip: rooms facing away from route 302 would be the quietest

Just finished up our second stay here with two kids 5 and under. Once over the summer and this past weekend for a visit to Santa's Village. It's updated, clean and reasonably priced. Perfect location just outside the hustle and bustle of North Conway and we highly recommend it for families! This is NOT a strip motel...it is truly an inn.

Beds are comfortable, flat screen TV's, granite counters, updated furniture. Rooms are nicer than most B&B's in the area!

We will return and thanks for having us!

Room Tip: Even though not as convenient for access to parking, we like the private back rooms with hallway and...
