“Our Favorite Panckes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2008

Every trip to the White Mountains is highlighted by breakfast at Glen Junction. We love the pancakes and their other breakfast food is top notch too! The pancakes are made thin and crispy around the edge, and they are huge, like 12 inches across. We love the blueberry.

I also like the Florentine Benedict and Trainman's Benedict. This place is family friendly and reasonably priced. The location is tops also - right next door to Story Land!

“Cute Idea / God-Awful Food”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 May 2007

My family drove up to Glen, New Hampshire to visit Storyland. We had breakfast the next morning at Glen Junction. The big draw to this little restaurant is the model train that circles the restaurant on a track mounted near the ceiling. The train is cute and my kids were really excited the first couple times it came around. But this was some of the worst food I've ever had. EVERYTHING tasted like month-old fryolator grease. It is amazing to me that things as simple as scrambled eggs and pancakes could go so horribly wrong. I was starving but decided not really to eat to avoid the penetrating trans-fat aftertaste. Lots of good farms in the area. Clean the griddle, invest in some fresh ingredients, fire whoever's been overseeing the food quality....keep the train!

The Glen junction is a great family restaurant serving the best thin and crispy pancakes I've ever had! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be stopping here.

“We Love Glen Junction Restaurant!”

Family friendly place that serves the best breakfast in Mount Washington Valley! The service is great and the food is delicious. The staff is always upbeat and they love kids! The trains circling the ceilings should not be missed. Lunch is awesome and the gift shop next door has plenty to see. We eat there everytime we're in the area!
