Went to Hampton for Mothers Day and every place was packed. Went to check Millie's out and there was no wait. The bartender was nice and he quickly got us a table and cleaned it off. Unfortunately that is where our dining experience ended.
We were a party of 8. 4 adults, 2 teenagers, a five year old and a 5 month old. There were people smoking by the door swearing left and right. The sign said the soup of the day was whiskey. We quickly realized it was more of a locals watering hole than a restaurant.
Again, the bartender was nice and the menu looked appealing. It was the crowd that seemed to be hanging outside and on the patio that quickly made is realize it was not a place for the kids like it was in the old days of the L St. Tavern.
My rating of poor is strictly for the environment.
