We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a nice place. We had a small room with a double bed, and one sofa bed. The bed was comftorable. The sofa bed was not leveled at all, had to put pillows to level the matress, the only thing that was a bugger. The rest was clean and afordable and very friendly. The breakfast was good, bagels and cream cheese and butter, cinnamon rolls, danishes, milk, juice and all sorts of cearels and milk. Bathroom was quite small, but the toilet bowl was hard to flush and the sink overflowed. Overall, it was a nice, and friendly hotel.

Had a two night stay here. Parking is far off at a municipal parking lot. Not convenient at all. The room soooo small, no chairs in room need to sit on bed. The room was not clean . The only good thing about this hotel is its location and the view from front room balconies. With everything else as bad as it was even the view fom balcony doesn't make up for the rest of the place...

Stayed here sight unseen for a couple nights July 3-5. Last minute family vaca and it was all we could find on the phone that was on the front strip and would let us bring our dog. We were even able to get an oceanfront room with a balcony. We had never been here before but were willing to take the risk. At 1st, we were a little nervous when we saw it was above a few shops but once we got inside and were met with a nice lady at the desk we felt a little better.

At 1st we thought the room was a bit small for 4 of us but realized the goal is to be on the beach, not stuck in the room. While I was not the most modern design, it did have a flat screen TV and the beds were surprisingly very comfortable. They even had the mattresses sealed which we thought was great.

Seeing almost everything at Hampton Beach is older, I think we made out quite well. To top it off hey make popcorn at night in an old fashioned machine and the fireworks get launched right in front of the place. We ended up watching the 4th of July fireworks right from our private balcony. Kids had fun, we enjoyed it and the dog loved being with us and people watching from the balcony. Would definitely go back again. And again, the lady who seemed to always be working the front desk was really nice and always smiling.

I have to say my wife and I are really confused about the bad reviews. We found the location to be perfect and the place to be nice. Maybe we had a newer room, but it was clean and the bed was more comfortable than many European places we have stayed.

The Moulton is a classic (yes that means old) seafront hotel. The rooms are small and the tiny little ensuite has been stuck into the room. Not really any other options unless you wanted to tear the place down and start over (which would be sad) or give up more room space.

The Romanian service crew was fantastic. I never met the owner but we did speak with him on the phone a couple times and he really seemed pleasant enough.

The location was the best part. Right in the middle of the Seafood Festival and walking distance to multiple pubs. We sat on our reasonably sized balcony and ate / drank several times, and watching the fireworks from there was really one of the highlights of the weekend.

The staff and management were friendly and very helpful. Also we were located right in the middle of all the amusements. The motel is old and requires work.

We made a spontaneous trip to Hampton Beach with no reservations and a small dog along. The Moulton Hotel was one of the very few dog-friendly locations in the whole town, and the one that had both a reasonable rate and an oceanside room. The owners/managers were very accommodating and friendly, and the room, while understandably small, was very clean and comfortable and recently remodeled. We hesitated to take an oceanside room, since this hotel is right in the middle of all of the boardwalk action, but the sliding doors out to the patio are tight, keeping any noise out. Overall, a great value for people traveling with a dog to Hampton Beach.
