This place has a lot of nerve charging more than $60.00/night. The room we were in, #16 was tiny. The bed was a pull out sofa. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and hard! The TV controls didn't work unless you stood up because the cable box was near the ceiling.
The air conditioner didn't work very well and was so loud it kept waking us up all night.
The door has a window at the top with no curtain or shade to cover it. A tall person could look into the room and the lights from outside were shining in all night. since it faces east, the sun was in our eyes at dawn!

Room Tip: evidently, room 16 has been updated. There are lots of cabinets. Not sure how that is supposed to help one have a good nights sleep, though.

The staff was wonderful. Both Kelly and Julie were the best. They went above and beyond to make our stay most memorable. It's a pet friendly motel and they really helped us and our dog feel comfortable. We would highly recommend it and we will be back. Ray, Sherri and honeybear McKnight

If you find being infested by fleas a fun vacation, then stay here. The cleaning staff does a horrible job. They don't vacuum, very seldom change the sheets or towels. Bed are extremely uncomfortable and covered in sand, even under the comforter. They allow pets in the rooms which leads to a terrible infestation of fleas that even a flea bomb couldn't kill. Awful experience, we will never stay here again or ever recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Tip, continue down 100 yards to the Windjammer.

I have stayed at the Seascape on numerous occasions and I'm staying there currently. The staff and the property are impeccable. I chose the Seascape Inn because they are the only resort who will allow you the comfort of having your pet if your luck is such that a winter rental on Hampton Beach is necessary; and for that matter Hampton Beach resorts are for the most part seasonal and commonly serve as a temporary living solution for those in transition.

I can’t even put into words how wonderful this establishment and more importantly the people who operate it whom I consider the family who was there when I needed one the most. You will not find service like this at the Ritz Carlton because what this resort has to offer simply isn’t for sale.

My Weimeraner Garth, whom I’ve had for ten years, would have been lost to my family if not for the Seascape inn and Resort and the people who manage this establishment. He turned ten in November and his little girl will be ten in June. She refers to him as "My Brother." My Family will be forever grateful to all of you at the Seascape Inn and Resort for your unfailing kindness, and professionalism.

In case I left room for any doubt...

*Outstanding (Way above and beyond) Customer Service
*Cleaned daily and efficiently year round by charming, sweet, and intelligent young women
*Charming New England Seacoast Style Decor
*Personality and Integrity that has no competition

If I had to make one criticism it would be ... If you’re not an animal lover, don’t come to the Seascape Inn Hotel & Resort!!!

If you are the typical traveler looking for an economical way to stay, you might find this place tempting. If you are in for a short term stay, Room #3 is the only revamped room with 'wood floors' that would make you feel like the $79/night price is a deal. Room 3 even boasts a Flat Screen TV. Although landing room 3 may be random act of booking when the Vacancy sign is lit, there is some profiling that goes on. Room 3 is the Model for the Condominium conversion that is currently underway. You are either lucky or chosen to stay in the 'nice' room. Everyone else is relegated to a pet and mildew stained throw back to what may not have been considered better days, even in better days. Some rooms have water pressure and wall unit air conditioners that fit the space that they not so gracefully shoved into. Much of the hotel is back to back with a tight fitting row of cottages. Many of the cottages stick their trash and recycle cans under the air conditioning units but only because that is where it makes sense to store something unsightly. This hotel rents nightly, weekly, and monthly. The Winter Rentals are for those who decide to stay here on a monthly basis and pay rent that frequently. If you are staying on a daily basis, you are sometimes subjected to a stay that includes barking dogs. To spare you a bunch more words that may not get to the point, let's get to the reality of this place. It is the equivalent of a Motel 6 or Super 8, or a place that would be rented by the hour and I am being generous. To be fair, there a quite a few of these places along Ocean Blvd in Hampton, NH, but this one tries to boast a AAA rating and even a good Tripadvisor rating. More than likely, the people who provide good ratings have a sweet spot in their heart for this place or they were able to partake in and enjoy the subculture of this hotel.

Room Tip: Only 'good room' decor wise is Room 3. Good luck on cleanliness (pet stains, pet hair, etc.)
