Everyone of my family members loved the old salt. Maureen was great and the rest of the staff was awesome. The rooms were clean and really nice. The breakfast in the morning hit the spot. Thank you, Mike and Giselle

We went there a few years ago for my husbands birthday. The rooms were nice (although the AC was very loud) and the staff was great about having cheese and wine in our room when we arrived! The restaurant on site (the old salt?) was very good. It seemed to be an older crowd but we had fun!

The front desk needs a little work. The blonde gal behind the desk seems to be easily flustered.

The rooms are small. The bathroom is barely big enough for one. The fixtures look as tho they came from an institution/military of some sort. Our bath/shower and toilet was battleship grey.

Food in the Old Salt could use a little work as well. Ordered apps in the pub, all three came out cool to cold. Had them reheated but the microwave made things hot but quality wise lacking.

We did return later in the evening (staying for the New Year event) to try dinner on the other side and that was decent.

The Sunday Brunch is huge.

My husband and I stayed for one night because we had an event in the area. It's a colonial Inn and what an enjoyable stay. Mau (at the front desk) was so helpful and accommodating. She assisted us with any of our questions. Our evening was terrific too. We enjoyed a meal in the pub complete with entertainment. In the morning, we were offered a continental breakfast in the lovely dining room. We will definitely be back ~ thanks!

I had a lovely stay,New Hampton was so pretty in the snow and the local people are fantastic.
This hotel has beautiful period features with all modern comforts.
The staff are extremely helpful, they even made it possible for me to attend the Christmas dinner show in the Old Salt Tavern.
I am looking forward to returning for a longer stay soon
