“A Great Place to Stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2014

Lovely rooms, very clean and elegant, with a staff that is super friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a room with a queen bed canopy. For this special area by the sea, I suggest that it is a premier place to stay.

Upon entering the reception area, the old school character of the inn jumped out, it also had a self serve coffee station and a laptop for guest use. The room was cozy and very clean as well as the bathroom. and included a microwave, mini fridge and 2 complimentary bottles of water.

After we got to our room we received a call from reception, they had a promotion and invited us to pull a shamrock from a basket, it was labeled with a gift from Lamie's, and we won complimentary nachos at the restaurant. There is a full restaurant on site and a separate nautical themed sports bar. The inn has all the comforts with no need to leave, but is located within walking distance to a few other eatery options.

All in all this is a very good choice if you need a comfortable place to stay. The historic value of the inn is what makes this a special place to stay at a reasonable price. reservations made on line was simple.

Lamies Inn and the Old Salt Tavern were the perfect place for a relaxing break. My mother and I enjoyed the Make Yourself at Home Package. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. The package included cocktails, dinner, dessert and coffee, as well as continental breakfast in the morning. The accommodations are so cozy and relaxing. The meal was delicious, as was the bread pudding for dessert. The most impressive part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, patient, and very helpful.

My husband and I recently had a very nice one night stay at Lamies Inn. Arriving in a snow storm, after a family obligation in Exeter, we were told that I had mistakenly booked the room via expedia for March instead of February. Thankfully they were able to accommodate us. Maw at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, clean and quiet. We had dinner and brunch at the restaurant and were very pleased with quality and value. We will definitely stay at Lamies again.

The room was warm and cozy. The staff was great! Especially in the lounge. I had the baked Haddock and it was some of the best I have had. I can't say enough about Lamies Inn and The Old Salt. Everyone should go there!! Sunday brunch is to die for!

Love it here! Cozy and quaint. Our 3rd trip. Great weekend getaway deals. Enjoyed a grilled salmon with grilled shrimp and pineapple, delicious. We'll just keep coming back again and again! The tavern is also great, terrific service and great cocktails. A sure bet

I just recently went here this past weekend for the first time and was amazed at the wonderful selection for Sunday Brunch. Mostly usual breakfast items, lunch items were great. I believe they were called chicken coins or something like that, very thin chicken with stuffing and gravy, very good. Desert bar is always a good one in my book. Food was cooked to perfection and everything was hot. One thing is it is very busy, make sure you make reservations or good luck with getting a seat.
