This hotel was terrific. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean and had all the extras;microwave, refrigerator and even a high speed internet connection. The desk personnel were polite and very helpful. The on -site sunken lounge with entertainment was a great place to have a drink at the end of the day.The lounge also had a wide screen flat (plasma ?)tv with great sightlines for watching the Red Sox open up a can of "whupass" on the Yankees.Stay here-you won't be disappointed.

My Husband and I along with some Relatives stayed at Lamies Inn & Tavern Labor Day Weekend for 2 nights. Our stay was marvelous from start to finish. The rooms were clean & cozy. The beds are very comfortable. We also had adjoining rooms which was nice. The atmosphere was very peaceful. The food in and waitstaff in the restaurant were out of this world. The staff inside the Inn were wonderful (ecspecially Samantha & Janet). The Hotel is absoultley goergous. Sunday night we ate Dinner in the Restaurant and they called us up in our room when the table was ready. After dinner we chated with Samantha at the front desk. She was so very kind and told us about the history of Lamies. I am looking forward to staying here again. The best ever!!!!!

After several trips to the area, it wasn't hard to realize that a clean, comfortable place to stay in the area is VERY hard to find, until we found Lamie's. It is a great place to stay. Clean and away from the bustle. I can't say enough about it. It is the only place that we will stay in the area. I am sure that you won't be disappointed.

My husband & I stayed there for 3 days for our 15th wedding anniversary. They are located in town away from the crowds of Hampton Beach, but close enough to drive to the ocean. When you walk into the lobby, there is instrumental music playing and you immediately feel calm & relaxed. The staff here are absolutely wonderful! (Especially Karen & Colleen) The room we stayed in was quaint & cozy, the bed was heaven to sleep in. The bathroom was a little small, but immaculate! The airconditioner worked great. We asked for a refridgerator to put some soda in, which they brought right up. The decor of the inn is colonial. The second floor has a lounge with comfy chairs, a small case of books that you can borrow to read and games to sit and play, with a skylight above that makes the lounge very cheery and bright, although it was VERY hot there. On our first night we decided to eat in the restaurant connected to the Inn, but there was a line out the front door. Karen at the front desk called the restaurant for us and put our name in and the restaurant called us directly in our room when it was time to come down to eat. They also had a gift bag waiting for us when we got back from sightseeing the second day...it had a big chocolate bar with congratulations on it, a box of maple sugar candies and a card wishing us a happy anniversary! They went above and beyond and made us feel so special from the moment we stepped through the door till the moment we left. There is coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day. (With flavored creamers) My husband & I already plan to make this an anniversary tradition.
