We went on a Wednesday night which is trivia night. Very busy and lively atmosphere. Food was average but the menu has a lot of choices and the portions are good.

Great casual restaurant with bistro quality meals! They have a very good selection of beers and some decent wines as well. (They also have a full bar but haven't tried cocktails there.) They have live music some times, but we did not go on a music night. Definitely a good stop in Hanover.

Stopped here on our only evening in Hanover. My husband & I ordered only appetizers. The BBQ pork nachos & the Brussel Sprouts. Both were delicious! We would go back again when in Hanover. Waiter & waitress were very friendly. Great service & great food!

Good food, beer, and fair service. It was karaoke night and the crowd was obviously enjoying it -- very good DJ. Would go back but Norwich Inn Pub was more intimate.

We came here after visiting the college with my family. Everything about this visit was "meh." We should have known when we got there not to stay... there was one other table in the restaurant at 530 pm on a Saturday night.

We started off with "hand cut pub-fries" and my father ordered the "fried brussell sprouts." The appetizers, as with most mediocre restaurants, were the high point of our meal. They came out quickly and were quite tasty. Then again, it's pretty hard to screw up french fries and brussells.

Now I have to admit, we probably ordered the wrong items off the menu for a pub. BUT, the jerk chicken was a special that night, and restaurants usually put items on their specials menu that they have put special care into, so we were very excited to try the jerk chicken. Unfortunately, even this minimally ethnic dish (it's chicken with spices rubbed one it) proved to be too far of a reach for Salt Hill Pub. The chicken was somehow dry and undercooked at the same time. Maybe some of the more typical "pub" food would have been better, but we really were expecting more off the specials menu.

The service was, just like the food, ok. Our server took our order, but clearly forgot to fire the entrees, because we waited about 30 minutes between apps and entrees. We got one check-in for drinks during our meal, but the server made no attempt to connect with us, and turn us into regulars [which could have been very possible]. To their credit, at the end of their meal, when we voiced our concerns, the restaurant offered to take off the food from our bill, which we insisted on paying since we had eaten most of our food.

The atmosphere was pretty quiet, but that was just the time of day that we came in. There was noone else in there when we arrived at 530, maybe 3 other tables by the time we left at 7.
