Walking in Hanover we decided to go here for lunch, glad we did because everything was delicious and they had a great selection of local beer. Win win, don't miss out.

“You might miss this restaurant due to its location but you shouldn't.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 October 2013 via mobile

It's in a basement and the interior space is quite quirky. But you're not going here for the decor. You're going here for great BBQ. As a bonus the service is friendly and efficient. Try the burnt ends and you'll be hooked for life.

“Wishing for more”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 October 2013

We were in Hanover for our daughter's graduation, and she took us to this underground restaurant. There were strawberry, melon, and other flavored margaritas for just $3 (12 ounces) and some great appetizers. We didn't have time for a meal, but from what we saw we wished we could have had more time there.
Nice atmosphere and great staff. Seemed like the restaurant went on forever going from room to room down hallway after hallway.

“Ribs, ambiance, service, music - all comforting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 September 2013

I visited Vermont/New Hamshire for three days and ate good food each and every meal but feel I have to give special mention to 3 Guys!

I have owned a prime meat market and have access to the best meats - 3 Guys ribs are unbeatable and the roasted sweet potatoes should win a prize.

Enjoy!!!

“A 'must visit' BBQ restaurant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2013

When traveling back home from Vermont to Boston on 9-22-13 after a demanding Spartan Race with a group of 4 friends (me included), we were searching the restaurant review websites for a good place to have some BBQ for dinner. We were hungry! 3 Guys Basement BBQ was only 8 miles off our route home and the reviews were great so we decided to give it a try. I'm here to tell you we made a great decision!

The owner of the restaurant greeted us at the door. He is super nice and has a great sense of humor. The staff we interacted with including a couple of waiters were very attentive. The menu has plenty of menu options. I'll try to list everything we ordered and it was all amazingly tasty.

- 2 Vodka Gimlets ($5 each)
- 6 draft pumpkin ales (hey, it's the season)
- Appetizer of 12 delicious chicken wings
- 3 brisket hamburgers (hamburger with layer of brisket on beef, topped with egg, onion rings)
- 1 brisket Rueben sandwich
- The burgers and sandwiches come with a side (hint: the mac and cheese is really good)

The total bill was right at $100, not bad for a very filling dinner with alcoholic beverages for 4 hungry adults.

After finishing the dinner, we chatted with the owner jokingly trying to convince him to open up a restaurant in Boston. He was very gracious and offered to show us his kitchen. How many owners will give patrons a tour of the kitchen?! He opened his walk-in freezer and showed us the preparations for next weekends Bacon extravaganza (weekend of 9-29-13). I repeat, what owner will open his walk in freezer for patrons to walk inside?! The freezer was flawlessly organized. I noticed all of the trays and containers of food were labeled with contents and dated. He then opened up a door and took out a piece of sweet bacon and let us taste a sample. Class act! I will be sure to drop in again when driving anywhere near Hanover, NH
