OK....this place is definitely dated and not fancy at all. We stayed in Cottage #15 (the only 3 BR unit) with 6 adults and our 2 grandchildren, and things were very tight. Many of the previous reviews were right on re. the relatively cramped quarters and less-than-modern amenities, but I'm still very glad we went there. The 2 kiddie play areas, the pool, the friendly hosts, general cleanliness of the interior and the grounds, the Wolf Den kid's playroom, safe atmosphere, and the super-convenient proximity to StoryLand (about 5 mins away) were a big plus for us. We probably will not return only because the actual layout of their largest cabin does not work for us (with a Pack & Play plus the bed in 2 of our rooms, there's wasn't much other space at all). This was our first ever family vacation with our 2 adult children, their spouses, and their toddler kids. But we will have great family memories -- including Perry's Cottages -- that will last far after this trip and that's the important thing for me.

I'm genuinely torn between the "Average" and "Very Good" rating. Very good for grounds, location (also about 8 - 10 mins from No. Conway 'center'), cleanliness, and staff; average at best for the actual cottage quarters.

By the way, before we left we asked to see some of the other units. Some of the other 2 BR cottages were very nice if you had a smaller group than ours. And they seemed a bit more updated than our 3 BR one.

I'm sure this place was pretty impressive whenever it was built - probably in the 1950's judging by the decor, and sadly i don't believe it has been updated since. While the service was helpful and friendly, the motel and cottages were let down by very small floor plans and tired decor. Our kitchen had no countertop to put anything down on, and despite sleeping 6 at least, the kitchen table only sat 4. And we spent $300 for the night, which was double what we paid elsewhere, and for much better accommodation. The children's playground was a redeeming feature, however I'd only consider going back here if it was a third of the price.

Perry is run by a kind couple who will go out of your way to help you out. I dropped by around 11PM and did not have a reservation. While Perry was fully booked, they made sure that I could find a place to stay.

Perry is a great place if you have children. It has an excellent price and an area for kids to play outside while Mom and Dad prepare for the day. It is located very close to Story Land which will also a plus if you have children.

Second time and LAST TIME visit here. Exterior-cute, interior-not so much. Tight quarters- we chose 3bdrm, for family of 3 and were still on top of each other. States it sleeps up to 8, maybe to sleep but certainly not to sit around and relax inside at night or while raining. No complimentary toiletries, the kitchenette was stocked with 1/2 bottle of dawn and an old, grubby sponge to "wash" dishes with, poorly lit inside to hide the dirt?
We left after one night and found a beautiful cottage for $50 less, much more homey, updated and open. Were much happier and comfortable, this also included continental breakfast and indoor pool! Will not be returning to perry's, so much more out there for same money or less!

Room Tip: Not recommended!

After doing quite a bit of research on where to stay for a long weekend I could not be happier with staying at Perry's. My daughter and I only needed the one bedroom cottage and it fit our needs perfectly. The cottage was clean and the grounds are well maintained. You could walk barefoot on the grounds and not be worried about stepping on anything. The pool is in very good condition with lots of space and seating. Every cottage has a small covered porch with seating, a picnic table with umbrella and a charcoal grill with grilling utensils. When we got there we noticed we did not have our grill ( next cottage over took ours) and I went to the owners and one was delivered to us in minutes. Clean towels are brought everyday to the cottages. If you have children of any age this place is perfect. They have small, updated playground and there is volleyball net and an outdoor pingpong table. There is enough room for kids to kick around a soccer ball and they provide all the balls. There is an indoor playroom that kids can " borrow" toys from and coffee is free every morning. If you enjoy TV there were plenty of cable channels and they have free wifi. It is perfectly located near Story Land, Conway and Santa's Village. This was a wonderful long weekend and we could not be happier with our choice. Would definetly go back!

I have never posted a review before, but after reading through some of the negative comments, I had to post my experience. I stayed at Perry's Motel and Cottages with my husband and 2 sons. We were there for 3 nights. The property is in a beautiful location and we were in cottage #11. The cottages are rustic, but very charming. We didn't expect the Ritz! The cleanliness of the cottage, as well as the grounds were wonderful. The owners were very accommodating, and they truly wanted us to enjoy our vacation. The pool did have bugs and tree droppings in it from time to time, but that is to be expected considering there are trees scattered throughout the property. I would rather swim with the bugs than be stuck in the beating sun! Please think about what is being said in the negative reviews. The owners have made many improvements to the property and from my experience- they will do what they can to keep their guests happy. My kids had a really good time at Perry's and we have already booked for next summer!

We wanted to stop off in North Conway for one night on our way home to Montreal, but could find nothing in our price range. Found this one. Checked in early, around noon, and there was no problem with that. It is a little way out of North Conway, on a mountain road that I actually preferred! We were offered a room with a queen sized bed plus sofa so we could have a sitting area instead of the 2 beds we had originally booked. Made a difference. The room is small and very much needs a facelift...there is a musty smell there, but we found it to be clean, and the people who run the property are always there to address your issues. I spent a very peaceful afternoon at the pool. In the evening sat outside our door and met some people who come there yearly with their children. There was a bonfire which was quite nice. All in all, we had a pleasant stay, but I must add that there is work that needs to be done overall to bring this place to a higher rating....the potential is there,

Room Tip: ask for sitting area!
