The location is beautiful- with an amazing view of the mountains and valley. Our hosts were friendly, they went out their way to make a simple breakfast catered to our dietary needs. Just a wonderful time in a gorgeous location. We plan on going back in the winter to take advantage of the snowshoe rentals and do some trails in the woods.

Staying at Windy Hell B&B was a refreshing change from staying in a town. Anne’s place is very peaceful and it was lovely to stay in a natural environment.

We stayed in Room 3 and it is large with a separate bathroom and an adjoining laundry which can be used for $1 a wash and $1 to dry. We felt very comfortable in Anne’s home and were able to use the kitchen to make a coffee/tea and have use of the refrigerator. Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and although it was chilly outside, we were nice and warm. The room has large windows overlooking the woods and farm.

We had dinner at Anne’s one night which was very relaxing ($22 per person) and her breakfast choices are extensive.

You need a car to access this property.

Would recommend this b&b if you would like to escape to the country, albeit, just for a short time.

Room Tip: Room 3 appears to be the biggest room.

Windy Hill was originally supposed to be just stop on our way to Maine, but it ended up being one of the most special experiences of our trip. The owners Anne and Bob made us feel at home right away and were great to chat with. It felt more like staying with relatives. They gave us lots of great advice about local hikes, restaurants (I recommend Bob's favourite place, the Red Fox, by the way!) and the rest of our trip, and included us in the life of the farm. We slept well and ate a glorious homemade breakfast looking out at one of the most beautiful view I have ever seen of the White Mountains. I can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: The Bed & Breakfast has an outdoor jacuzzi. We hadn't anticipated and didn't have our ba...

On our way to the Windy Hill B&B I thought "wow this is really out there". At that point we were still 1.5miles from our desitation.

This B&B is a working farm in a secluded section of rural Jackson NH. At night there were no street lights to line the road, and if you shut your lights off your in complete darkness. During the day the farm is a sight to be seen, with grassy hills to the north and south and woods surrounding the property.

As for the inside, homey would be the word I would use. The owner Anne said to make ourselves at home, and she meant it. We had leftovers in the fridge, played board games in the living room at night, and would discuss the days adventures before bed. While we were there only 4 days Anne & Bob felt like old friends by the end, ones we hope to visit again soon.

Oh, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the ham and cheese french toast and the coconut waffles.

Room Tip: The queen room has windows facing south over some of the pastures. It also has a bathroom window th...

I can't say enough good things about this place! I arrived in a snow storm, and was greeted by Anne (one of the owners) with a cup of tea and a warm fire. Their property is beautiful, with rolling fields and incredible views of the surrounding mountains. If you are looking for a cozy B&B in the mountains, this is truly the perfect spot!

Windy Hill Bed and Breakfast is a lovely quaint farm. We choose to go in the Fall to capture the fall colors and we were not disappointed. The view surrounding the farm is breathtaking. Anne and Bob are great hosts and very helpful to us foreigners :). The farm is peaceful and quiet and the cows are your alarm clocks in the morning. The location is great for exploring the White Mountains area. The town of New Conway is only about 20 minutes away where you can shop till you drop at the outlet malls. We truly enjoyed our stay at Windy Hill and waking up each morning to see the stunning views was a delightful start to our day.

Room Tip: Room two has a wonderful view of the farm and surrounding areas.

We went to Windy HIlls on our honeymoon and chose it because it was very reasonably priced, at the end of a dirt road, and near many mountain activities. Although there was not any snow like we thought there would be in January, we got great advice on local hikes and explored new beautiful mountains every day. Owners Anne and Bob were great to chat with and made us great breakfasts.. We especially loved Wayne's french toast! We felt right at home at Windy Hills and loved the peace and quiet. It was hard to leave. We both highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something different and relaxing. Also can't beat the views!

Room Tip: We had the queen room and it was great- beautiful view of the mountains. But that's anywhere you...

We are always happy when people enjoy their stay. Being a farm it is sometimes hectic but we love it when our guests blend in and can go with the flow.
