“Can't wait to go back”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

We stopped in here while we waited for our room to be ready. Had appitizers that were VERY TASTY. Later had dinner there that was just as tasty and the next day breakfast. The best food we had in the area. Prices are great and the staff (from bus boys, waiters, bartenders) were always smiling, welcoming, and friendly. Although we didn't have our kids with us - this is right near Story Land - i thought it was great that they had a big "Kids room" (play room) and also seperate area for family dining - although i didn't see them "insult" anyone that that kids - they had the option to be seated in this area or outside it. GREAT PLACE

“Lots of choices for vegetarians”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

We ate here both nights as we enjoyed it so much our first night. As a vegetarian often options are limited but there was plenty of choice. One day I had a grilled pear salad which was gorgeous (and huge- it came in a massive pasta bowl), although there was a grilled beet salad which tempted me too. There was a big range of pizzas so the second evening we shared a veggie pizza and the pear salad. We sat in the bar area both nights, as there was a wait for tables in the restaurant, but the menu was the same and it was still table service.
One day we had dessert- they were all home-made - the key lime pie was delicious. Great value too.

“Surprisingly excellent food in a small mountain town!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

Red Fox Grill is a wood grill specialty restaurant in Jackson, but they also offer a broad American menu of salads, fried foods (wonderful crisp, not greasy, thinly breaded onion rings), & burgers. But they also have great wood grilled pizzas, entrees, and vegetables. There is a very wide choice of side dishes, so everyone can have their favorites. Seating is in a quiet dining room, or a fun sports bar setting. Good wine & beer selections. We had a very good Angus burger with the heavenly rings and local, oh so sweet, corn and a perfectly wood grilled, fresh from Maine, halibut, covered with a bacon/corn salsa. We were completely satisfied with the excellent food quality, as well as the efficient, smiling service. Red Fox is just down rt. 16 from Storyland, so it gets very busy at peak meal times - plan accordingly.

“Great food Great service”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

My wife and I arrived late into Jackson and needed a place to have dinner and relax after a long drive that day. This restaurant was close to our hotel and so we decided to give it a try. We were glad we did! It was late so we split a red beet and spinach salad along with a few side dishes, which were all a la carte. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly and prompt. It was so good that we decided to come back the next night for dinner even though there were so many choices in the area. We had the fire roasted salmon, another spinach and red beet salad along with a couple of different side.

Everything was outstanding and I would highly recommend this restaurant!

“People are always surprised at the quality”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

The wood fired grill really sells this place. Plus, even when they are busy with StoryLand families (closes around six, so from 5pm on it's pretty busy), you can easily get a seat at a table next to the bar, not noisy at all. The wings are terrific, the selection of beers great, and the steaks and seafoods extremely well prepared. The salads are large and good. You'll like it here. I go here about once a week. The pizza is not your usual fare either, since the wood fired part gives it a better flavor.
