“Great home cooking!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

This was not our first trip to Yesterday's and certainly won't be our last. We have only been for breakfast. Let me start by saying, I'm not a big breakfast person. My family loves breakfast. I'm happy as long as I get my coffee. Everything that was ordered was soooo delicious. We all ended up sharing and trying what we had each ordered. There were raspberry pancakes...big fluffy pillows of yumminess loaded with fresh local ripe juicy raspberries. One of us had ordered eggs benedict made with shaved prime rib. Oh my oh my. It was served with au jus as well as hollandaise. The prime rib melted in your mouth. I ordered corned beef hash. It was entirely made up of corned beef. Not used to that but it was served over some tasty home fries. I also ordered cheddar toast. Yum! It was homemade bread. I'm not much of a carbs girl which is why I'm not huge on breakfast pancakes, waffles and all that. But the muffins, bread...everything here is homemade. I broke all rules and could not stop eating the corned beef hash or the shaved prime rib. I overate so much like a puppy that broke into his dogfood. After breakfast, we went to Story Land where the consequences of my gorging myself resulted in getting the meat-sweats and stupidly going on the Turtle Twirl Tilt-o-Whirl spinning ride, which from this point on will be known in my family as the Turtle HURL. Oh yeah. Well, I mean, I at least made it off the ride and into the ladie's room before my breakfast made a reappearance. But, I digress. Just making the point that the food was THAT good, that I couldn't stop myself. Try it if you have the chance! Let it all digest before hitting Story Land!

Friendly staff, great food, kids menu, daily specials, reasonable prices. We stopped there on our way back from Sunrise drive up Mount Washington.

Everyone was great in the restaurant but the food was just so so. Nothing to write home about. Decent place to grab a quick bite.

“A busy place indeed!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2014

We arrived to the restaurant a bit after 9 AM and just beat the morning rush. Our waitress was very friendly and service was great in the beginning. Within 20 minutes the noise level was a bit overwhelming as nearly every seat was taken. Perhaps sitting away from the entry area would be key to a more comfortable environment. The food was decent, though the special request for my breakfast was not followed. The cost for two of us about $30 with tip, a bit costly.
