Most importantly, Scamp is truly an asset. Any establishment would be lucky to have her. Susan is also a notch above most in town.
The food is a little hit and miss. For breakfast, the muffins and eggs Benedict are to die for. In fact, most of breakfast was really good except the omelets - a let down.
For dinner, the onion soup is good and pub menu is good too. The rest of the menu is limited at night and prep is good. Veal is good. Desserts were a disappointment. Cold, dry bread pudding was bad and the chocolate lave lost its lava somewhere.
Don't get me wrong, we'll be back, but we'll be choosy.
