Spent just a night (a date-night get-away) in this gorgeous hotel, with attentive staff. We stayed in a suite as part of a stay-and-dine package, and the rooms were exceptional, included a hot-tub on a private porch, in addition to a gas fireplace, spacious rooms and a comfortable bed. The dining was pleasant, and well worth it as part of the package.

Room tip: only stayed in a suite, but highly recommended

We stayed in one of the Fairlawn Cottages. The room was marvelous - spacious, steam shower, spacious jacuzzi tub, fireplace and the bed was super comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner both days and the food and service was 5 star quality. Each window in the main dining area is decorated on the outside to look like a postcard. This past weekend there was an abundance of snow and a snow moon which made the hotel look like a movie set. The Koeppel's are first class hoteliers in so many ways. It was our second time staying at this hotel and would highly recommend its old world charm and modern amenities.

Room tip: Upgrade to one of the suites. It is worth it.
