We had a very nice stay. The rooms were decorated and comfortable.
.breakfast was very good. Overall a very nice stay. We will return. Our bike trip was a big success and part included our stay at Jefferson Inn.

Room Tip: We were bicycling from Orford to Jefferson as part of a three day bike trip. Plan your dinner not much near by except pizza.

We go married at this inn 27 years ago, and we returned for a brief stay. It was very nice, clean and comfortable. Gwen and Eric were personable, and the property was a cozy as we remembered. They shared local places to eat and points of interest to visit. It rained, but that did not stop us from having a good time.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the Rose Room. It has an attached bathroom and is on the 2nd floor.

I was almost out of gas in the early evening and just in time found a small gas station across the street from the Jefferson Inn. They had a room! The staff was very courteous, the rooms clean and all in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Thanks. Glad you almost ran out of gas across the street. Plan on visiting us with gas next time.

This was our first trip as a family with two girls, 3 and 1. At first I was a little unsure of how the girls would act at a local B&B. But it was absolutely perfect and the trip worked out very well. They loved the property and we were all very comfortable in the room. Eric and Gwen set up a pack and play for the baby to sleep in and there was a day bed in our room as well for our oldest daughter. Jefferson Inn was only a quick mile to Santa's Village. There are a few local country stores and a deli along the way if you need to stop and grab a snack. Although Eric and Gwen did provide homemade cookies and beverages in the afternoon for a little "pick me up." The breakfast that Eric prepared was superb and the coffee was outstanding. Loved it! It was simply a very nice place to stay and they were so accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Not to mention the mountain views are breathtaking.

We looked for a pet friendly place in the White Mountains, and found there are very few. Luckily, we came upon the Jefferson Inn. Eric and Gwen welcomed us, and our dog, to a comfortable, clean, well-maintained room at a very reasonable price.
Eric's orientation, complete with pointing out the appropriate entrance and a good area to walk our dog, made settling in easy.
Gwen made very nice breakfasts, with delicious scones, muffines, and coffee cakes, followed by pancakes, french toast, fresh eggs or omelets from their own chickens. The coffee was fresh roasted and ground, from a local roaster, and was as good as we have ever had.
Gwen and Eric provided detailed and accurate information about the area, with good dinner recommendations, places to fish, and scenic hikes.
We stayed 4 nights, and intend to return to Jefferson Inn to enjoy being well taken-care-of, again.

Room Tip: there are two pet-friendly rooms, one capable of accommodating a family
