A girlfriend and I stayed in a suite on sat/sun night. First the staff was very plentiful and efficient, someone was always cleaning everywhere. We did not eat in the restaurant it was a little pricey but that's to be expected. The price was good $150 a night for 2dbls and queen sofa. Beds squeaked and were hard but linen soft.
Things I would improve on... Towels have way to much starch., and the big thing is the bathroom.. First it is tiny tiny and really really needed to be redone. Moldy grout is one thing that does not work for me..

Glad you found our resort to be a "clean and affordable" vacation spot on Lake Winnipesaukee. We have shared your review with our housekeeping staff in order to improve our housekeeping services for future guests. The NASWA offers two restaurant experiences to our guests. Breakfast and dinner is offered in the Blue Bistro and a more casual dining experience is offered lakeside at the NazBar & Grille. The NASWA was built over 78 years ago and while the hotel has been continually upgraded over the years you will find some guest rooms with smaller bathrooms. In the future please feel free to request a guest room with a larger bathroom and we are happy to honor your request.

Love staying at The Naswa. Nice place..on the lake....very clean. Excellent friendly staff. Great beach bar with live music and really good food. Stayed with 4 guys in a 2 bedroom cottage.. very comfortable. Walking distance to Weirs Beach. We'll definitely be back.

Good choice for exploring the lakes region.
We stayed in one of the suites with lake view. It was off season so we were almost the only ones around. The suite was very spacious which we enjoyed. However it could use a bit of an update – new beds and TV.

Thanks for staying with us! For over 78 years, the NASWA Resort has offered an authentic lakefront experience in the heart of the Lakes Region. With this is mind we continue to upgrade and update the property, our guest rooms, cottages and suites without sacrificing our old Lake charm. Since your visit each of our guest rooms have received new large flat screen TVs! Hope to see you again this summer or fall!

I've been a travel agent for over 30 years and have traveled the world. My husband and I stayed at the Naswa Resort June 1 - 3, 2013 because our son was competing in the Tough Mudder at Gunstock Mountain. We loved the Naswa! We stayed in the building across the street and while the rooms are nothing fancy, they are roomy and very clean. The front desk staff let me tour a couple of the cottages on the water and I loved them. The nicest feature of the cabins is they all have a large screened in porch attached. The beach was very clean - the staff was extremely friendly - the bar/restaurant on the water was fabulous! Granted this is not a Marriott or the Ritz but it's a great family resort with a great location.

It is very pleasing to know that you have traveled the world and found the NASWA to be among the best hotels in your travels. My grandparents started the NASWA 78 years ago and my family welcomes our guests to the NASWA as we would welcome guests in our home. Tough Mudder was a fun event and the Lakes Region was very lucky to host it this year. It was certainly a tough challenge for those who competed. We look forward to seeing you again at the NASWA possibly in one of our lakeside cottages this summer?!

Stayed here for a few days before Memorial Day weekend. Would have like to stay during the weekend after the Beach Bar was open for the season but we had to get back home for the Long Weekend.

We rented a 1 room cottage with 2 beds. Would have prefered 2 rooms so that my 3 year old daughter could be in one room while we could relax in the other living area, but you couldn't book that on line and I just went with the cheaper priced one I found online.

Room was sort of "kitchy" but in a good way. Bathroom was pretty small and needed some updating, but it was fine for the few days. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch overlooking the lake having some drinks and snacks. Unfortunately it rained alot but the porch kept us dry.

Location is great, took my daughter down to the FunSpot arcade (A Weirs Beach institution) for some games and rides.

We're trying to find a time to go back this summer for a few days, so we can enjoy the beach this time.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Our convenient location makes it easy to enjoy many fun things to do and places to see within the Lakes Region and White Mountains. And when you feel like relaxing, a lounge chair on our beautiful beach is the best place on Lake Winnipesaukee to read a good book or simply enjoy time with your family. Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

The Naswa staff makes you feel like a guest. Parking is kind of awkward and cramped. The beach is wonderful and you can bring a boat and dock it on site which is great. You can have a drink and relax and watch all the boats go through the channel. You can also easily walk to Weirs Beach and a diner close by. The room was decent and clean and I had no issues.

Room Tip: top floor of the suites has the best water view

My husband son and I just needed a room for the night on Memorial Day Weekend. We rented a room with 2 queen beds. Room was very clean. Had everything we needed for the night. The room was across the street from the lake but you could see the lake perfectly from our balcony. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again during the summer months and stay for a few days.
