My children, aged 8 & 12, and I just returned from our 5th annual summer vacation at the NASWA Resort. As in our previous four stays, the entire NASWA staff from front desk to waitstaff to housekeeping to the owners all made us feel welcome and like a part of the family. This year we decided to have a less structured vacation and spent more time on property rather than visiting Storyland, etc. The kids (and I!) had a blast in the lake and using the kayaks and paddle boats. At S'mores and campfire the kids made friends with other children who were also staying in cottages and they played on the beach until lights out. The next morning they said they had the best time ever. We always end our stay with our "fancy" dinner at Blue Bistro where in a matter of a few steps you can transform from being on the sandy shores of the lake to a first class dining experience. It was the perfect ending to a great trip. We will be back next year for sure!
