This was our 6th. time staying at the Nas a. As always, it was a great trip. It is the perfect place to stay in this area. Close to everything at Wiers beach and to all sorts of fun places. Great staff and comfortable rooms. Very happy there.

Room Tip: I like all of the rooms. The rooms across the road from the main lodge are quieter.

Thanks for sharing your "perfect trip" with other travelers on TripAdvisor. Our convenient location makes it easy to get around the area by foot, boat or car. Weirs Beach is one of the nicest beaches on the lake and a great place to swim and people watch. It has been our pleasure serving you for six years!

Our favorite band plays at Meadowbrook every year and we stay at the Naswa. Our experience here is generally good... there are a lot of events which go on at this resort every weekend and i have attended some... it seems, however, that each time we stay in August for our concert our service at the NasBar (outdoor / on the beach ) is terrible. waitresses do not know how to multitask or set up a table for food .... for example, we were served a huge plate of nachos for the four of us... the nachos were served. No napkins, forks, or plates... we sat there for about 20 minutes until we saw our waitress again in order to get these essentials... eventually passing the plate around the table and eating before the food got cold...

Thanks for sharing your experience at the NazBar with us and other travelers. We apologize for the lack of service and have brought your dissatisfaction with the server to our Food & Beverage manager's attention in an effort to learn from our mistakes. We will do our best to make sure this does not happen again to other guests.

Looking forward to seeing you next summer!

Our family and friends had come here while I was growing up to spend a wk in one of the cottages each year. We have great memories and just had a reunion 2 wks ago for a week end and had a wonderful time and would do it again. Not a 4 star but that is not why you come here. Place is very clean, dated a bit but does the job. Does need new Matresses. Over all Great weekend could not say enough about the staff they do a supurb job and if you ask they will do there best to accomadate any needs you have.

Room Tip: Lake front rooms are worth the extra. Cottages are great for a wk.

Family time is very precious and goes by quickly so it is wonderful to hear that you have made so many great memories at the NASWA. Please rest assured we continue to improve the NASWA each fall and winter. Many of our mattresses have been or are being replaced.

Looking forward to hosting your family reunion again next year!

We were in a motel room facing the parking lot with no view for $168 a night (stayed 2 nights)! The funniest thing was they said there would be a $300 fine for smoking but we walked into the room and it smelled just like you'd expect an ancient motel room to smell - moldy and musty. Smoke would have been an improvement! It took a couple of days after we left for my husband's allergies to calm down. Other than the smell though, the room and bathroom were very clean.

In addition, the room was very dark. The only window to open to get fresh air was a smaIl window in the bathroom. The beds were extremely uncomfortable.

This "resort" also uses regular keys still. Due to this, we felt very uneasy leaving any valuables in the room so we took everything with us when we left the room. Good thing we did because on the second day we came back to our room and the door was WIDE OPENED and no maid in sight. We got a quick sincere apology but that's pretty careless.

The beach area was nice and the beach bar was nice. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. I would only stay there again if we got a room with a balcony facing the lake ON THE LAKE SIDE of the road. I doubt even that though

Though we just stayed at the Inn at the Naswa just one evening, we had a great time and felt the staff made the experience all the more enjoyable. The rooms, though a bit dated, were satisfactory and superburbly clean. We enjoyed the night life offerings and the food excellent. We will definitely be back!

Thanks for sharing your one night visit with others on TripAdvisor. Each year improvements and updates are done to the rooms but it is a never ending task:) Our housekeeping staff does a great job keeping the rooms clean and neat for all guests. Glad to hear you enjoyed the food at the Blue Bistro and the NazBar & Grill.

We look forward to serving you again!

We have been visiting the Naswa for 13 years. Our children have grown up on the beach and dock. The Naz has something for everyone. Everyone knows us by name and the Makris Family can't be any nicer. We have met great friends there who meet us every year so our families have become close friends growing up together. Five families with boats. What is better and luckier than that?

Room Tip: Stop in and try the Naz. The restaurant is excellent.

Thanks for being one of our many guests who have made staying with us a family tradition. The Resort has been in our family for 79 years and Hope Makris, the matriarch of our family, has always welcomed our guests into our resort as our extended family! Knowing our guest's personally and knowing that our guests have made lasting friendships at the NASWA is very important and rewarding to our family and our staff.

Thanks for being part of the NASWA family!
