Everything was wonderful - the room decor and view, the impeccable and appropriately friendly service staff, the long, relaxing spa treatments, the restaurant, the fireplace and comfy club chairs and ottoman, the 60-jet whirlpool tub, the beds like softest clouds, even the three friendly and beautiful dogs who live there! All combined to make for a restful, pleasant, stress-free visit for me and my "friend" - my recently married daughter! The whole experience surpassed my high expectations.

After careful research we selected this venue for a couple of nights in the lakes area of New Hampshire. The room was bigger in reality than it looked on the picture and was plenty big enough for the three of us. The hotel is fairly modern spotlessly clean and our room had a balcony with a view of the lake at sunset which was stunning. Breakfast is good continental style, coffee is available at all times and a restaurant is attached. It is a little out of town but worth it.

I was referred to the Inn & Spa by a work colleague, sight unseen with little conception of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with the easy elegance. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a gas fireplace and a whirlpool in the bathroom. The balcony view of the lake was a nice bonus.

We have stayed here several times. It just gets better and better. The hotel is quaint, clean, well decorated and has the most sincere, nice staff. Our room (we get the same one every time if possible) overlooks the lake and is very spacious. The rooms are huge, tastefully decorated and have a nice balcony. The spa is excellent! There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. The rates are reasonable.

Room Tip: book early, get a room with a view

We have been open now for 6 years and one of our greatest compliments is how many return guests we have on a regular basis. We love to hear that people have stayed with us each year, or each season even. New Hampshire is a great place to experience all four seasons and many of our guests make it a point to treat themselves to a seasonal getaway. Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is so proud to be their choice residence for these getaways. With these repeat guest in mind, we have recently launched our new frequent stay program. Many of our regulars are already eligible for free stays here at the Inn. We are excited to be able to give back to our loyal guests and friends. Happy and Safe Travels to all of you out there!

My husband and I stayed here when we went to see a concert at nearby Meadowbrook arena...we have gone to concerts around here before and haven't really been able to find a hotel that we were happy with. Lake Opechee Inn was a wonderful exception for us! We had a second floor lakeview room which was surprisingly large and luxurious; with a sitting area with corner gas fireplace, high bed with great linens, and bath with jacuzzi. We didn't have time for dinner but we did sit in the bar and sample some wonderful appetizers. We will probably go back just to stay here, even if we don't attend a concert - it was that nice. The nearby Weirs Beach area is fun and has amusements and arcades, and Lake Winnepesaukee has boat rides, etc. A great overnight!

Stayed here for one night in double Queen with tree view (Not a forest, just bank of trees hiding a bikepath.). The Lake or rather an inlet of the Lake is across the drive. Lake has no access or beach so the up charge for the view doesn't merit the charge. The room was great. Comfortable beds plenty of room.
Free internet but a cable is required. (No Wifi). Gas fireplace was a nice touch...but for another time of year. Large Bath and Frig w/ a counter and coffee set up. Breakfast area was country kitchen set up with ample food (Continental). The restaurant "O" is worth a visit ...even if you don't stay at the Inn. Great service, reasonable price and perfection of the plates. Easy to find location w/ all locastores and chains one needs on vacation. Will return.

Room Tip: Don't bother on lake view. You can sit on rockers on lobby level if that's your thing.

We were starting our vacation and needed a hotel to stay in the night before we could get into our lake house for the week. We had our small dog with us so this place looked great since it was pet friendly and not a motel. 1) The WHOLE property is pretty, right on the lake, the inside is wonderful and the rooms are great. 2) We were in one of two pet friendly rooms, they totally catered to my dog, leaving bowls, treats, a card, and a crate in case we wanted to go out. 3) The bed was amazing, so comfy and just BIG. 4) the next morning the breakfast spread they put out was also well done.

The property also had an exercise room which I used, and lots of outdoor seating to relax. I must say I heard no noise while in my room, and used the fireplace to relax. I feel like this would be a great place to stay in the winter with it feeling so cozy.
