“Paradise in the NH White Mountains”
Reviewed 31 July 2011

The Lodge at Lincoln Station is a hidden gem in the White Mountains of NH. This resort is family friendly with condo rentals that include a full kitchen, studio and one bedroom units, as well as one bedroom with loft for extra beds. Indoor pool, jacuzzi and saunas, outdoor pool, tennis and basketball areas, grilling and picnic area, huge fireplaced Great Room and deck over looking the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River. Swimming in the river directly from the property. Amazing views of Loon Mountain's South Peak area. Game rooms for the kids and full laundry facility. My family has been staying her for 10 years and we highly recommend it to families and couples who want to get away from the hustle bustle of their lives - 4 restaurants within walking distance, as well as a small shopping area with convenience store, thrift shop, artwork, etc. So many White Mountain attractions are close by - Loon's summer recreational center - Cannon Tram, The Flume, Franconia State Park, Whales Tale water park, Clark's trained bears - too many others to list. You will never be bored staying here!!

Our GPS led us to the "local dump" on Recycle Rd. which we thought amusing, until we arrived at the real front door of The Lodge, only to find that someone must have referred to this place as a dump. They are currently remodeling the common areas, however the condo (B311) was shabby, cheap, dusty, and dirty. We had to put on our own bed linens, empty our own trash and empty the dishwasher from the previous occupants.....not what we had in mind for a "get away" Our condo overlooked the parking lot. Definitely would not stay again or recommend.

We stayed here for two nights in a condo' owned by a family from Easton, MA. The condo was booked for us by City Tours Maine.

The one we stayed in (C110) overlooked the river/ rapids with fantastic views of the mountain. The condo was very clean, superbly fitted out to a high standard and felt like home from home. We would happily stay there again and recommend to family & friends.

We ate at Gordi's on the recommendation of the lady on the front desk and it was so good we went back the next night too! If you want a friendly sports bar feel with good food and range of beers then look no further. It's also three minutes walking from the Lodge so no nominated drivers required.

I cannot believe that I've never been here before - it is GORGEOUS. Our condo was gorgeous - it overlooked the beautiful river below. Apparently, every condo is individually owned and maintained so they are all different. D110 was amazing. The front desk folks were so kind and helpful. There was so much to do here, but this place also felt like it was in the middle of no where. Until we went down to the indoor pool, we never realized that anyone else was staying there - it was so quiet! I'll definitely be going back.

I stayed here with a friend on a weekend ski trip. It is clean and simple, kind of dated decor wise and the TV in the room was really small. The front desk help was a bit annoying..when I first arrived, there was a sign at the desk saying they would be right back but had to wait for a long time which really put me off and there was also another woman there who had been waiting a long time. Had issues with our keys not working for our room and had to call security. The jacuzzi only had jets on one side. The walls are thin and so I found the room to be a bit noisy. It is clean though and had a great location to the mountain.

We chanced upon this condominium resort in the centre of Lincoln, and were very happy with the one-bedroom suite where we stayed for three nights in September. It consisted of a living room with balcony, sofabed and kitchen corner; a bedroom with queen bed and ample storage space; and a compact bathroom. All was tastefully and comfortably furnished and decorated: we had the feeling of staying in someone's apartment rather than in a hotel. We paid about $170 a night, which seemed fair enough. The situation is quiet, the Lodge being set back from the main street and behind another building. Our balcony faced away from the town, and the view was over the peaceful bubbling Pemigewasset river and the forest behind. Wonderful tranquillity! The whole building is light, modern and clean. There is a very large communal lounge (with WiFi), and in the basement a large health complex with games rooms (one closed) and a sizeable swimming pool. We saw surprisingly few residents about, perhaps because the main holiday season had ended.

The front desk was efficient, but sometimes one had to wait to be served. We give top marks for the housekeeping, which was unobtrusive and faultlessly efficient. There is no restaurant or breakfast provided in the Lodge, but an excellent steakhouse and a decent breakfast cafe are only four minutes' walk away, so there is no need to take to the car in order to avoid preparing meals.

A small warning concerns the pool. The shallow end is less than three feet deep and has a very rough floor. If you swim to this end, which is not discouraged, you may risk scrapes on your extremities unless you are very careful. One swimmer suffered two painfully grazed knees.

We would certainly return when revisiting the area.
