“Really Nice Stay”
Reviewed 9 December 2012 via mobile

We stayed for a week in a two room apartment here with a third pull down bed. The master bedroom was fantastic with a large whirlpool bath and a full bathroom. The kids took the smaller bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

The living space was plenty big enough and the kitchen area had everything we needed. Plenty of cupboard space to put all out ski gear.

The on site facilities provided all we needed and it was great to sit over in reception for a while each day and use the free wifi to check emails on the iPad and watch the world come and go. There were things to do with the kids in the games room so overall ticked all the boxes.

The only down side was the people upstairs who decided to throw food off their balcony down onto ours. I told housekeeping but it took them a couple of days to clear the mess up. No biggie, we weren't using our balcony but it wasn't nice to look at.

It's is a really good place to stay for a skiing trip, Loon Mountain is over the road and 40 minutes away is Bretton Woods, one of the best ski resorts in NH. Lincoln has plenty of places to eat so you can't fault it as a location and Pollard Brook is well worth a stay.

We will come back again without doubt.

Have stayed here several times over the last few years as a guest of timeshare owners– always in Nov-mid Dec timeframe. It is a mixed bag here for sure. Their regular timeshare unit is ok, nothing fancy and rather dated. This year some of the dates got turned around so they were re-assigned to another unit. To be blunt, it was horrid (unit #115). Avoid that unit at all costs! It is directly over the boiler rooms and the thermostat does not work. It is beyond HOT – easily in the 80s (can only imagine how awful this unit is in the summer). At first we did not notice since it had been so cold outside, but the longer we were there, the hotter it became. The place literally shakes when the boilers fire up and you can see liquid shaking in your glass and hear dishes clinking)! We called the front desk and they sent a rude maintenance person over who told us just to open the windows and slider (HUH?). They sent the ‘nice manager’ after that incident who obviously had heard this same complaint many many times. We stayed there that night (with windows and slider open) since it was too late to make any changes. The next day we were moved ‘this time only’ to a very nice two bedroom, 2 bath upgrade in a different building. We had to move ourselves, no offer to assist. That suite was quite spacious and no complaints – so very much better than where we had been placed. They have very nice gas fireplaces in all units and new large flatscreen TVs. I did notice that throughout the complex the front living area rooms for some strange reason do not have air conditioners, which is fine in the winter but makes one wonder what it is like in the summer. Someone else told us they have to put fans leading out of the bedrooms that have the a/c to push the cold air into the main living areas. The daily housekeeping service is great and the attendants very pleasant. The gym area is well equipped but one morning I could not figure out how to turn the lights on so they had to call maintenance. The switch was outside in a hallway up close to the ceiling (no wonder no one could find it). One real issue is that they do not open the inside pool until 8am but the gym opens at 6am. Most people that are up that early to work out definitely want to use the pool/sauna at the same time to do laps or whatever. Makes absolutely no sense not to let people use the pool early – have never seen that one before in any facility. By 8am, I want to be out of there for breakfast, hiking etc. They need to adjust their maintenance schedules when folks would not being using it, when closed, or posted times during the week – not early AM. I used the pool anyways but got ‘spoken to’ the last time – no one else was there and I was not bothering a soul. I have had internet problems in the past but this visit had only minor slowness the last day we were there. The rest of the time it worked fine from the units. There is no place to eat on premise which is ok but plan accordingly and there are plenty of places close by. Overall most staff members are pleasant and helpful with a few exceptions. As far as room #115 – they should not put humans in there period. They are well aware of the problems with that unit and I believe there is another unit next door with the same issues. There were plenty of other empty units they could have used. It would be a great idea if they used it as storage or better maybe use as their own offices instead of putting unsuspecting guests in there when they know there are issues with them, hoping they will not say anything. This place has potential but misses the mark in several key areas.

Room Tip: Avoid Unit #115 and the one next to it - they are over the boiler rooms. Humans should not stay in...

Great place, only gets four stars because the room was too hot and we could not control the temperature.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom well appointed and spacious condo. We were lucky to have a mountain view in the Fall. It was breathtaking. We had plenty of space, the unit looked very new, it has a gas fireplace but we never needed to turn it on. The only down side of it is that it was very hot and we had to keep opening windows and doors.

The pools were great (full size indoor and outdoor), There is a play area and a basketball area that we did not use this time.

The desk/reception staff were friendly and helpful. If you are planning to visit something in the neighboring area, ask at reception THe guide is very helpful with suggestions and you can buy discounted tickets for local attractions. We got tickets for the Lost River Gorge, which is an amazing place to visit. They also hold excursions for guests. We heard good things about the Moose spotting evening tour, but couldn't do it ourselves. Definitely worth checking what they offer.

This resort is beautiful and we love it here. I first stayed in October 2009 and just recently again about a week ago. The views are excellent, the rooms are spotless. The indoor pool is huge and the locker rooms are spacious. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. This is our favorite place to stay in Lincoln. It’s unfortunate that tripadvisor is a website where ignorant people can say whatever they like about an organization. I’ve read comments about the COMPLIMENTARY internet service not working here? We’ve had no issues with the wifi either time we stayed. If there ever was a problem, get over it. You can't get mad about a service that you aren't paying for. Someone even said that the bed was so uncomfortable that they slept on the floor? Really? Do the world a favor and stay home. That is truly the safest place for you, since you are obviously too miserable of a person to enjoy a VACATION.

Room Tip: We really enjoyed room 244

We have stayed here before, our last stay here was very comfortable, rooms are very roomy and clean, plenty of towels, which was great, gas fireplace was nice and convenient, Kitchenette was very nice, seemed recently remodeled, and beds were comfortable, we checked the mattresses and they seem to be new too, really nice.
Wireless Internet was working fine the only issue was that you had to reenter the password once every few hours. We noticed new nice artwork on the walls in our room. Pool and exercise room were great, clean seemed very well maintained.
The location is very pleasant, just across from Loon Mountain, Lincoln is a small town so it doesn't take much to go anywhere, resort is very close to I-93 too, wonderful mountain places around to ski, hike or just relax and enjoy the view, plenty of restaurants around. 45 minutes to either North Conway or Tilton, for outlets shopping experience.
If relaxing is what you are looking for this is your place, just be careful with Moose, we have a close encounter just outside the resort on the Kangamangus Highway the first night, nice to see one but scary when unexpected

This is just a room with a bed, a fireplace with a noisy timer, and staff that could give a rat's patoot about your stay. No internet connection in any of the rooms - you have to walk down to the main building and wait in line for one of the two lobby PCs to become available. When we asked about the 'wireless internet in each unit' we were first told 'Oh, we didn't know there was a problem," and then the next day it was "The hurricane knocked the antenna down," and the third day it was "there's some guy that's supposed to fix it but he's in Hyannis, MA and rides a motor scooter so we don't know when he'll arrive, " and on day 4 it was "Oh, we weren't aware of the problem." Each day a new lie, and even some jokes from the staff, including one woman who said 'that stupid internet thing hasn't worked in months. Avoid this place and find a nicer unit nearby where they have some interest in you returning in the future.

Room Tip: Request a room at another resort - don't stay here.

I'm sorry you did not have a good experience. We are aware of the internet issue and are currently looking into different solutions to the problem, but we understand your frustration. We have just made arrangements to increase the bandwidth substantially, in hopes that some issues may be eliminated. We realize our guests and owners expectations and are doing what we can within budget constraints to provide the best service possible.

We came to see the fall leaves of New England and we were lucky enough to be in the perfect place for everything!! In Season Resort Pollard Brook is at the very start of the Kancamagus Hwy that had the most glorious leaf color of any place we travelled while in New England. It had the fabulous leaf color, the quaint towns with churches and town squares nearby, covered bridges and waterfalls, maple sugar houses, apple orchards, etc. Inn Season had an on site concierge, Eric, that took you on daily trips to the main attractions in the area. He was very helpful about getting around and places to go if you did not go on the planned trips. It was just wonderful! We had a very good condo in the building called Mountainside or Mountainbrook. We slept with the window open each night listening to the sound of the brook cascading down the mountain right outside our window. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath, with firepace and balcony; it was very clean and nice--also maid service each day. We really had a wonderful experience here and recommend it anytime you want to see fall foliage.

Room Tip: Not all buildings have elevators, so be sure to ask when you make your reservation or check in.
