“Food was awesome”
Reviewed 10 January 2014

Ate her while staying at the resort. Dinner was for 5 adults. The appetizers were all very good especiaaly the spinach artichoke dip with large chunks of fresh artichokes and the loaded nachos.
For the main course the prime rib was excellent as was the pan seared salmon was the best ive ever had and I order salmon quite often at dinner.

“Great food, great people”
Reviewed 9 November 2013

We went to the restaurant before going to see a show. We were greeted warmly and shown a table quickly. This was surprising since it was high tourist season. The waiter was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He mad excellent suggestions. The French Onion soup was the best, hot and rich. Both entrees were hot, well presented and delicious. The rolls were so good we had seconds. The only sad part was that we did not have time for dessert. Rest assured, we will be back and be sure we have enough time for dessert. They looked fantastic! This is a restaurant and resort to visit any time of year!

“Best French Onion Soup”
Reviewed 31 October 2013

Visited this restaurant 10 years ago and went back after being away from New England for so long. The quality of food and the the friendly atmosphere has not changed. Some of the best food ever. Never had I eaten such a wonderful onion soup. Kudos to the chef! No one makes Indian pudding anymore and it was fantastic. Well worth the trip back to Lincoln~

“Terrible service, below average food.”
Reviewed 24 September 2013

Why I ate here twice I don't know. We were staying at the hotel so it was handy, that's the only good thing. Service was horrible! The first night we sat 10 minutes before the server came over, she apologized saying no one told her we were there. We gave her our drink and food order it took 10 minutes for drinks. I for a starter I ordered the "famous" clam chowder which never came. 20 minutes went by then 2 meals were placed on an empty table, 10 more minutes go by and a third dish is set on the empty table, then our server picks up the meals and brings them to our table. So we sat for 10 minutes watching 2 of meals get cold on a near by table. 1 out of 3 of us liked our meals.
Second night, we are told there's a 25 minute wait, yet the restaurant was half empty. Once we got our table we were "lucky" enough to get the same server as the first night, very friendly person, full of excuses. Gave our drink orders and it took 20 minutes for my daughter to get a powder made chocolate milk and 30 minutes for my glass of wine. Server apologized saying she told someone to get it the wine. We ordered our food, both starting with the "famous" clam chowder, which is $6 for a cup. As my 16 year old daughter said it wasn't even as good as Campbells. After 40 minutes our mains arrived- chicken fingers and fries and the Traditional New England Turkey Dinner. The fries were soggy, chicken fingers cold. Turkey dinner, a pile of pulled turkey dropped on top of a pile of mush, runny mashed potatoes, and a mystery vegetable, best guess is turnip cooked with cinnamon. Never going back to this place.

“Breakfast buffet”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

The selection on the breakfast buffet was good. Some of the choices were excellent and some were not. The corned beef hash was steamed instead of fried so it was a little mushy. They had apple crepes that unfortunately were soggy and they did not use fresh apples. It was canned apples to use in pies. Other items on the buffet were good. Coffee was very weak. Service was good. Price foe the buffet about $12.00 per person.
