“Great vacation - RCI timeshare trade”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

We arrived on Friday, August 1st and checked into a two bedroom on the upper floor of building 4. This unit was very including two full bathrooms (one up, one down) a master bedroom downstairs and a bedroom with two beds and a loft with two additional beds upstairs. We quickly realized that we were going to have to relocate to a lower floor because my elderly father had a difficult time navigating the stairs as he was suffering from a very sore back. I called down to the front desk, explained the issue with my father, and asked if we could relocate to a lower floor, they informed me that they were fully booked but that they would see what they could do and call me back.

In about 10 minutes they called back and let us know that there are no 2 bedrooms available other than on the 4th floor, but they offered a 1 bedroom (room 303) in building 1 near the only elevator on the premise. Although the floor tiles near the tub need a bit of TLC, the remaining parts of the unit were well maintained and the kitchen was updated and had a full cook stove/oven, full refer, microwave and dishwasher. The one bedroom had one bathroom with a master bedroom on the first floor and a loft with four beds upstairs. The unit had a rear patio that overlooked the pool area which was great! We went to take a look at the unit and decided to change rooms. The WI-FI worked well.

I believe that all rooms have a fireplace.

The customer service was so good and not what I had expected. Christine (I believe was her name) was so helpful. We received two calls from the front desk asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Housekeeping called every morning around 9 to ask if we needed or wanted their services that day.

The resort has two indoor heated pools and two outdoor pools, and four hot tubs which we enjoyed a lot. What I really liked was the fact that they had lots of lounge chairs with side tables poolside outside as well as tables with four chairs and umbrellas for families to use. BRING your own towel because the ones they hand out at the pool house are very small and thin.

We mostly relaxed by the pool but did get off resort a couple times. We made a trip to North Conway to do outlet shopping and to Mount Washington where we saw a black bear on the edge of route 16 eating berries. We ate at Elvios pizza and that was good.

Room Tip: If you have any mobility issues, ask for building one and or 1st floor of any building. Building 1...

In March 4 of us girls had a cross country ski trip, we decided to stay at Village Of Loon Mountain, what a wonderful stay we had. Everything was perfect, the outdoor activities, the restaurant and lounge could not have been better. My son went there this weekend with his girlfriend, he too had a great time. They hiked up the river to watch the sunrise at 5 am, took the gondola ride to the top of the mountain and walked down. They also said their dinner was awesome !

We had a week at the Village of Loon Mountain, a family of 5. Beautiful, stunning region, with scenery that is literally breath-taking. And this resort is right in the middle of the White Mountain National Forest. The staff were wonderful to us, they really couldn't have been more helpful. The location is excellent for exploring New Hampshire, Vermont, and western Maine. The unit we stayed in was 2 bedrooms with an additional sleeping loft above the lounge area that was quite private, so the unit could sleep 6 with privacy. 2 bathrooms, and really plenty of space for all of us. The facilities at the resort include an indoor heated pool, tennis courts, etc. A very well equipped family accommodation resort.

Overall, we were very happy with the accommodations and the location across the street from Loon Mountain can't be beat! We stayed in a 2 bedroom loft unit, which had a king bedroom downstairs, and a bedroom upstairs with 2 twins and a loft outside the bedroom with 2 more twins. Overall, unit was clean and comfortable. Furniture and decor were from the 80s, and many updates could be had. The heating registers were loose and fell off on most of them while we were there, but the kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to make meals there and enjoy our vacation.

Pool needs updating. The floors are tile everywhere, read this as SLIPPERY! They were cold-ish water, but the kids enjoyed. The tiles need to be replaced as a safety hazard, and the pools/jacuzzis need to be repainted. The whole pool clubhouse needs to be renovated, again with awful 80s decor everywhere.

Staff was friendly, property well maintained, and shuttle to Loon was great, although stopped running on March 23rd for the season, so we only used it one day. We will definitely be back again in the future and would recommend to friends.

Very nice stay at the Village of Loon Mountain Lodge. One bedroom unit was nice for two people. Unit was nice size. Pool area was nice, although equipment in the fitness center needs some updating. Bed was very comfortable. Sofa bed was passable. Resort was pretty much empty, only about a dozen cars in the lot and very very quiet. Didn't see many other guests. Very convenient for skiing at Loon. Shuttle bus to Loon is available from the parking area. Free wifi was a surprise since many other reviews indicated there was no wifi Plenty of hot water. Kitchen was nicely equipped, several items on the inventory were missing, not a big deal and we didn't need them, replacements were offered. Unit was clean. Overall nice stay
