We arrived on Friday, August 1st and checked into a two bedroom on the upper floor of building 4. This unit was very including two full bathrooms (one up, one down) a master bedroom downstairs and a bedroom with two beds and a loft with two additional beds upstairs. We quickly realized that we were going to have to relocate to a lower floor because my elderly father had a difficult time navigating the stairs as he was suffering from a very sore back. I called down to the front desk, explained the issue with my father, and asked if we could relocate to a lower floor, they informed me that they were fully booked but that they would see what they could do and call me back.
In about 10 minutes they called back and let us know that there are no 2 bedrooms available other than on the 4th floor, but they offered a 1 bedroom (room 303) in building 1 near the only elevator on the premise. Although the floor tiles near the tub need a bit of TLC, the remaining parts of the unit were well maintained and the kitchen was updated and had a full cook stove/oven, full refer, microwave and dishwasher. The one bedroom had one bathroom with a master bedroom on the first floor and a loft with four beds upstairs. The unit had a rear patio that overlooked the pool area which was great! We went to take a look at the unit and decided to change rooms. The WI-FI worked well.
I believe that all rooms have a fireplace.
The customer service was so good and not what I had expected. Christine (I believe was her name) was so helpful. We received two calls from the front desk asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Housekeeping called every morning around 9 to ask if we needed or wanted their services that day.
The resort has two indoor heated pools and two outdoor pools, and four hot tubs which we enjoyed a lot. What I really liked was the fact that they had lots of lounge chairs with side tables poolside outside as well as tables with four chairs and umbrellas for families to use. BRING your own towel because the ones they hand out at the pool house are very small and thin.
We mostly relaxed by the pool but did get off resort a couple times. We made a trip to North Conway to do outlet shopping and to Mount Washington where we saw a black bear on the edge of route 16 eating berries. We ate at Elvios pizza and that was good.
