“Great family style resort, affordable price.”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

Stayed here for one night last weekend with my wife and 8 year old son. This is a great family style resort right in the heart of the white mountains. Very affordable prices compared to other lodging in the area. Especially loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. There's just something about swimming in a nice heated pool outside when the air temp. is 10 degrees. Super nice staff at the check in desk, clean rooms with big flat screen t.v.'s. Great deal on discount ski lift tickets at the front desk. Have stayed here before in the past and we will definitely stay here again.

My husband and two children recently stayed at the Indian Head Resort for Super Bowl Weekend and it was the best choice! We loved our stay at the Indian Head there are so many fun activities for the whole family. My children loved sledding down the hill, ice skating, and swimming. There were so many winter activities to do we didn't have enough hours in the day. We couldn't have been happier anywhere else. We definitely made some great memories for them that weekend skiing and enjoying the outside whether. We were very lucky it snowed while we were there (since thats why we travel up there), nothing beats seeing my children bundled up enjoying the fresh fallen snow. My husband and I wanted to especially thank Cid for accommodating our needs, from the moment we walked the front entrance, to the time we drove away she was making sure our stay was he best it could be. She told us all the fun things we could do with our kids and everything was just perfect and truly magical.

Once again my husband and I stayed at the Indian head for our anniversary January 31 and February 2. We enjoyed the outside hot tub after a full day of skiing and the sauna too! Dinner was great too. We had Adrienne as our server each night she was informative about the menu and very fast at getting us our drinks and food. The artichoke dip and asparagus salad were amazing! The salmon was flavorful as well. Definitely recommend the Indian head for the cold months of winter as a fun place to relax and unwind.

I just paid $197 for a one night stay and $129 for four meal plans. The room was disgusting, dirty rug on the floor to peeling wallpaper and mold on the walls and ceiling. Standing water in the shower with no hot water to shower in. Squishy bottom of the tub, felt like water trapped between an original tub and an overlay. Dinner at the restaurant was a nightmare and we heard several other people complaining as well. Management was completely unprofessional when we voiced our complaints. Will never again step foot on this property!

We've stayed at many hotels in the Lincoln area over the years and always wanted to try the Indian Head. We got what we expected - a clean, comfortable (though not spacious) room. Our only disappointment (and the only reason we wanted to try this hotel) was the outdoor heated pool was closed (no fault of theirs -it was below zero temps for several days). The indoor pool was adequate and we loved the ping-pong table and pool table!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean. The this is a motel. You walk outside to get around. The Indian theme is just awful. It is close to Loon Mountain. The breakfast can be tasty if the buffet is avoided. This hotel is best for a school field trip.

Room Tip: Ask for the best room in the main hotel.
