“A little attitude with your meal?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2013

We stopped in Littleton for lunch and a visit to Chutter's recently. With no plan, we took a hearty recommendation from a lady on the street who seemed the think that the Oasis was the place to go.
Outdoor seating was an option, but it was a hot day and we preferred indoors out of the sun, but the temperature inside wasn't much cooler than it was outside. Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess was in the midst of complaining to one of the waitstaff. When she did give us the time of day, it was with a healthy dose of unapologetic attitude. She was uniterested in customer service and I got the impression she would have preferred us to go elsewhere.
Since we didn't know where else to go, we stayed. Our server lovely and we didn't get any of the attitude we'd gotten from the hostess. It turns out the hostess had plenty of attitude to go around for diners who came in after us.
The "Italian" portion of the menu was small and didn't translate into basic lunch fare. After waiting a long time for our food, it finally arrived. We asked for the check at the same time, since our lunch break was encroaching on dinner.
The food was good - nothing to write home about. My turkey sandwich turned out to be a grilled sandwich which wasn't indicated on the menu. The apple slices on the sandwich were so thin as to be non-existant and added nothing to the sandwich.
I can't recommend any other place in Littleton for a meal, but anything has to be better than the Oasis. The service was okay, the food was passable, the decor left a lot to be desired, and the hostess with the attitude got the entire meal of to a bad start.
Find another place to spend your eating out dollars.

“Good Italian fare!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2013

My wife had the shrimp scampi and I had the veal parmagiana and both were delicous, accompanied by glasses of the house Chianti! The restaurant was very busy and we had to wait 10 minutes for a table, but it was worth the short wait. The staff was pleasant,no complaints at all there. If you get to Littleton, NH plan for at least one meal here.

“Small Portions for the Price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2013

The food was average overall, chicken tasted great, but the pasta was undercooked. Plus small portions for an Italian restaurant.

“A long wait for food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2013

We went to the Oasis for a late dinner when we arrived in New Hampshire based on trip advisor reviews. The food was fine, but because of a private party we waited over an hour for pizza. The total dining time was over 2 hours without dessert. I wouldn't not recommend it because I think the private party impacted our experience. The server seemed flustered and seemed to avoid us because she was aware of how long we had been waiting. We needed more water and had to approach the front desk to get a server to return to our table, The location is close to the Hampton Inn and I have a feeling that without a private party it would have been better!

“Good find”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2013 via mobile

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was good and the service was friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the outdoor feel sitting inside off the deck.
Ellen our waitress was great. Friendly and accommodating.
Good find. :)
