A nice change of pace from the usual intense weekend. This park is nicely organized with athletic fields, playground a nice trail around a scenic pond. The trail is wide but as usual small rocks are abundant and some small rises and dips. Even on a hot day, the trees shaded and cooled the walk. Joggers and people with leashed dogs shared our stroll easily.

Stopped there for a group outing after morning youth hockey tournament game. We ordered take-out party style food from Puritan Backroom (which as fantastic and is right across the street). Lucked out with weather for Nov. Kids didn't play too much on apparatus, but there was a huge field where the kids played soccer/football. There were several picnic tables we utilized for the food and drink. Was a good time.Probably even better in spring/summer... also, likely more crowded.

This is a positively gorgeous and well maintained park. We felt totally safe and secure here, took a light lunch bag and sat and watched birds and squirrels and we think we saw a raccoon. The weather was perfect and we felt very relaxed. There are places to sit and this is also a great place for nature photos.

Livingston Park is a very peaceful place for a walk, it takes you around dorrs pond, it’s a very easy walk about a mile long, bench’s to stop along the way and a few tables to enjoy your lunch
