“My first FLWright house, won't be my last!”
Reviewed 21 August 2013

Really enjoyed the tour over the 4th of July weekend. The docents are knowledgeable and seem dedicated to the preservation of the home. A great discussion ensued about the Zimmerman's desire to live in a piece of art and their dedication to the museum (Currier) as well.

“An architectural gem”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

First time to visit the FLW Zimmerman House an example of his 'prairie style'. The docent was wonderfully knowledgeable not only about this house and its history, but also FLW and his philosophy and art. The Currier has done a wonderful job of upkeep on both the house and gardens treating them as the 'largest work of art' in their collection. I look forward to returning and sharing this wonderful work of art with family and friends.

Make sure you include a visit to the Zimmerman House as part of your visit to the Currier Museum. You must have a separate reservation for this time.

“Very Interesting Architecture”
Reviewed 19 June 2013

Must make reservations in advance. Very interesting place. Be aware that you can't touch anything in the house. Study the rules before you order tickets for this.
