Don't bother with the local chain hotels - stay here instead. Warm hospitality, big rooms, and unbelieveable breakfast food.

The owners have put a lot of thought into anticipating guest needs, and it shows - from the umbrella stand stocked with loaners, lint brushes, homemade scones & cookies, a well-filled snack basket and more - the Ash Street Inn takes hospitality to the next level.

And they couldn't be more helpful with transportation suggestions, dining recommendations and great local advice you'd never get from the corporate hotels.

A short over night stay that was restful and delightful. Eric, the inn keeper made us feel very welcomed. Always a cup of coffee ready for you and a plate of scones and cookies. Who could ask for more? But there was more, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the towels you just wanted to curl up in. The robes looked luscious but I was afraid to take advantage as I would not want to get out of it once I was in. I'd look a little odd getting on a plane to fly home wearing just a robe. Then there would be the bill for it once i did get home. Whether you're in Manchester on business or a little vacation don't pass this up. Well worth it.

Considering the fact that Manchester is not a destination city, this was an oasis and a very pleasant one at that. The innkeepers are thoughful and accomodating. The rooms are well appointed and tasteful. The proximity to the Currier museum is a plus. I would highly recommend this place for anyone going through Manchester.

A very special place. Everything is thoughtfully arranged, with great attention to detail and personal touches. My husband is vegan, and Eric prepared delicious vegan pancakes and french toast for him. It was really nice!

This lovely B&B offers afternoon tea (by reservation) with delicious sandwiches, scones, jams/jellies, petit-fours, other sweets, and of course, a delicious tea. The owner, Eric, served us and gave us some local history of the area and noted how close the Currier Museum is to the Inn.
After our tea, he gave us a tour of the rooms offered. The rooms are tastefully furnished with a Victorian flair and modern amenities. The Inn's location in Manchester is in a lovely part of Manchester and it's tempting us to return again soon!

Can't say enough about this Inn! The rooms are beautifully decorated and they have thought about every last detail to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. At breakfast you get a menu of options that Eric cooks up for you fresh when you order. Absolute perfection, will come back any time we find ourselves even remotely in the area!

We paid our 4th visit to the Ash Street Inn the first weekend of May 2012. It was, as always, warm and inviting. Even after 12 years in the business, Eric & Darlene haven't lost a bit of their enthusiasm for providing an exceptional lodging experience. They keep well ahead of the maintenance of the Inn, e.g., all of the bathrooms were updated & freshened in April 2012, although on our previous visit only 6 months previously, we considered them to be superior. Their attention to detail and to constantly enhancing guest services makes the Inn a very special place. This lovely Victorian provides the charm of the old (stained glass windows are gorgeous) and the luxury of the new. Eric and Darlene are down-to-earth, hardworking folks (they do it all themselves) who are skilled at engaging in as much or as little conversation and local recommendations as the guest wishes. We look forward to our next visit!
