“if your not a regular you dont matter”
Reviewed 8 August 2013

or at least thats how i felt when i was there a few weeks ago, This breakfast place has been on the oval for many years and there fore has many regulars which makes it easy to be ignored when you arent spending breakfast with the staff every morning, other than that food was decent, coffee was good and i am pretty sure they are the only breakfast place in Milford that serves eggs Benny, so i will probably be back.

“Great breakfasts”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

Nice n delicious eggs served with homemade hash. I frequent this little place just off the oval about once a month. Street parking requires a little creativity..

“Great Food, Warm Atmosphere, Great Prices”
Reviewed 25 April 2013

Michael's review had me confused. it sounds like he likes the Union Street Grill but was trying to find some way to be "a critic". I have never had a bad meal at the Union Street Grill. I love the small cozy atmosphere. I love that the owner is behind the grill and as soon as time allows he is out talking to the customers. I find the specials to be delicious. Just because something is a blend of flavors that would not have occurred to me does not mean it is not going to be amazing. If you are in the Milford area and looking for a great breakfast or lunch at a reasonable price the Union Street Grill is for you.

“Interesting Breakfast, at a Unique Place”
Reviewed 24 January 2013

This is a small place, decent parking out front. I have been here many times, it is an ecclectic place, not quite a 'restaurant", more of a breakfast at the home of a friend, in the guise of what might be a cafe. Just a few (crowded) places to sit, a place where you need to know the place before you walk in. Most of the people are "regulars". The bathroom is someplace in the back, I have always ordered from the Specials Board. The Specials are a great mix of opportunities, but in reality they are a bit of a too complex taste experience, almost as if the owner is trying to find the most outrageous things to mix together. But, although a bit of a cacophony, the flavors work well together. Be aware that the flavors are not subtle. if you get the home fires you will experience a life-time of paprika in each bite. That stated, this is a plce that you should experience, just be prepared, this is a situation where I believe that the owner decided to bail out of corporate life and bring his talents to a small towm. By all means, grab onto this experience, but be prepared, it is unique, be ready for a place that is insular, almost a place that does not like strangers, a place that is unique, with food that is somewhat "in your face". Almost as if the Owner had a melt down and decided to tell the world to "step off", and moved to Milford to do things as he knew they should be done.
