A recent Friday night coincided with our anniversary and the search was conducted for "that special place" to celebrate. Thankfully, the search yielded the correct result - The Inn at Pleasant Lake. My wife and I had not been there previously, and the reviews were certainly encouraging. We met a number of guests who were celebrating one occasion or another. Although the weather wasn't the best (rain), we were greeted warmly by the staff and the service throughout the entire evening was spectacular. Chef Brian MacKenzie took us on a fantastic tour of culinary texture, taste and treats. This beautiful inn and its ultra-professional staff are not too be missed. We simply cannot wait to return!

Pricey, but worth it. I love this place. I always make a reservation for special occasions. Unfortunatly I can't afford eating here every night. I would however like some new deserts added. I do love the use of maple syrup, hint hint.

We celebrate our anniversary every year by having dinner at The Inn at Pleasant Lake. The food is fantastic and Chef Brian MacKenzie never disappoints. For those of you who haven't been here yet, it starts with drinks in the room with the fireplace - since our anniversary is in Jan., the fireplace is warm & welcoming. The presentation done by Brian is always enjoyable, followed by the best meal - the finest ingredients cooked to perfection. Brian always follows the end of the meal with a visit to each table. Don't miss this gem, whether you live locally, as we do, or are visiting our beautiful community.

We were at the inn for the weekend and had two dinners and two breakfasts - each one was amazing! Chef Brian is a talent! We have eaten at some fine restaurants all over, and this food is definitely among the best meals! Everything was presented in a beautiful but not overly pretentious way and just tasted great! And, looking out the windows at the beautiful scenery is just extra icing on the cake! Thank you for a wonderful and inviting stay!

Thank you for your kind words regarding our restaurant. Also, thank you for taking the time to write your review. Our goal with the inn and restaurant is to create the comfortable non-pretentious atmosphere that you mention. We feel that taking the edge off is a way for people to just totally enjoy their experience here. The staff here at the inn try hard to tune into each guest's disposition and needs. Doing this isn't always easy, however, upon leaving we hope that each one of our guest leaves content and happy. Thanks again for taking the time to review our restaurant.

The Inn at Pleasant Lake is not just an Inn, but a whole experience!
New England Elegance at its best. From the Inn it self, the views of the Lake and of course,
we can't for get the dining! Chef MacKenzie out does himself. The food is awesome!
From presentation to tastebuds its artistry in food. We have been here a couple of times and each time we are never disappointed. Chef MacKenzie came out to greet us and explain the courses and how they were being prepared. Such a delight!

Highly recommend this establishment!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Christine for your wonderfully kind words. My passion is to make people happy. Thank goodness I can cook well. Having the great food surrounded by our great guests and staff has made running the inn an absolute pleasure. It can be challenging at times, but this business offers so much daily variety that coming to work is never dull or boring. Thank you again for taking time to write a review for the inn. We hope to see you again soon.
