“Second time here, great food, awesome beers, good ambiance and incredible views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2013 via mobile

Second time dining here. Their seasonal beers are the rage. Our waitress was superb. Yes, their reception people could be a heck a lot more customer driven, as they seem to be jaded and tend to ignore customers while entertaining themselves. But once inside, it's paradise. Their fried oysters are finger licking. I had their seafood kabobs. My partner had shrimp scampi. Outstanding.

“Just your fun average pub”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2013

A good stop for pub food, especially if you are interested in micro brews. Owned by Tom Mills, who also owns the upscale Millstone Restaurant in New London.

“I will be back.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2013 via mobile

I had some sort of a ham sandwich drowned in some creamy cheese sauce. All in all it was good. Next time i will ask for the sauce on the side. It would be better as a dip. It was confusing the way it was served. I must say, it was tasty, just hard to eat.

“Good pub food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2013

Love that this restaurant has gone solar. They brew their own beer so if a beer lover, it is recommended. Food is good pub food.

“No need for a menu - order the chicken tenders”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2013

Although they have a very extensive menu - we always split a large order of the beer batter chicken tenders served with a side of blue cheese and hot sauce for dipping. These are by far the absolute best chicken tenders (fingers) on the planet. Giant pieces of tender, juicy chicken breast surrounded by a golden crispy beer batter crust - dipped in the tangy coolness of the blue cheese dressing with a little kick from the hot sauce - perfection!! I don't drink beer so the craft beer is lost on me. I do wish they would increase the selection of wines they have available by the glass and perhaps throw in one or two of a higher quality. The service is only area that consistently falls short. We always sit at the bar and it always takes the bartender a while to acknowledge we are there and even then there isn't any warm welcome or greeting. The food comes out in a timely manner, but again without any smile or "enjoy your meal... can I get you anything else". The service won't keep me from going again but only because the chicken tenders are so good!!
