We stayed at this charming hotel for a week. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, we felt removed from the hustle and bustle of the town (which is a good thing!). We upgraded our room for a mountain view but after reading reviews, we think we got the cliff view. We got a stunning view of the parking lot... The rooms were a little outdated and on the small side but still charming. Can't really complain since we went in the off season and got a deal on the price.
We agree with many of the previous reviews regarding the excellent location of this hotel. We do feel that the rooms are nothing special and not worthy of the price per night. A continental breakfast in lieu of a full breakfast makes this hotel even less worthy of the per night charge.

We have been celebrating our wedding anniversary for the past 10 years at the White Mountain Hotel because we love it! Doing a weekend pkg affords us the luxury of staying at this well-known hotel, celebrate our anniversary and do our Christmas shopping all in one weekend. North Conway is well known for its outlet stores and we take full advantage of that. Our package allows us breakfast, dinner on Saturday night and brunch Sunday morning. Not to mention the heated outdoor pool and hot tub which is something we both look forward to after a day of shopping. This is one weekend we look forward to all year!
We did not stay at this property but it was suggested by the Hotel we were staying at for our Anniversary Dinner. When we arrived we were unsure of what we would find from the outside of the building nothing stands out about the building. The gardens are nice and the location it is not on the strip but from the parking lot a very plain building. The Lobby was nice when we entered t and found the restaurant with ease . The Hostess checked us in and we asked for a window not knowing about the view until we saw it (very beautiful). It took a few minutes but we were able to have a window seat. Our server was Sue from the start when she was welcoming she gave us the evening specials first so that we would be able to best decide on the wine we wanted no pressure to order . The wine recommended went perfect with our dinner Which was delicious she did make a few adjustments for us ( I am Gluten free no problem at all )
I spilled some Red wine on my new white shirt and she came over with white wine and vodka and removed the stain for me ! By the end of the meal we felt so relaxed even though it was a busy night in the Hotel. Our Anniversary Dinner Could not have been More Special . We will be back next year to Stay and Dine for our Anniversary
We took a last minute trip to the White Mountains over Labor Day and stayed at the White Mountain Hotel and Resort. It is a great place. The kids loved the outside pool. The food was good and we had a great time. My only suggestion would be to have a bit healthier selection for the Continental Breakfast ( but it was free and you could order off the menu so that was easily fixed.) I would definitely stay here again.

The property is very nice, the rooms are tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds. The included breakfast was delicious. We had dinner at the restaurant which had a beautiful view, it is very close to the outlets.
