We stayed here for three nights as part of our New England tour and I was thrilled that the inn lived up to my expectations. It is beautifully presented, very clean and Bruce and Jessica are very welcoming hosts. Jessica's breakfasts are delicious, the walnut, maple syrup and cream cheese French toast is to die for ( forget the calories, you're on holiday!). We found restaurants within an easy walk but the main part of town is a short drive away. We were very kindly upgraded to the Winter Solstice room which features a fire for colder evenings, very romantic. Lovely house and perfectly located for seeing the natural beauty of the White Mountains, Bruce even has a leaflet with his own suggested itinerary for seeing as much of the natural attractions as possible, a great help.

We spent a couple of days at The Cabernet and enjoyed it immensely.
Bruce and Jessica were very friendly, but not too intrusive. This was great for us as we were taking a break from a stressful period at home so not necessarily looking to be wildly sociable!
We are pretty familiar with the area, but had not stayed at The Cabernet before. We were treated to an upgrade upon check in which is always nice! Bruce checked us in and gave us some great info and an excellent introduction to the Inn
Breakfast was excellent and there were choices to please all palates and most dietary needs (Jessica will also tailor a menu to those with more complex needs).
We enjoyed some great days riding the mountain roads and a soak in the Jacuzzi on our return. Our room was very comfortable and we truly got to relax! Thank you
We look forward to visiting again - thinking we like the idea of snowshoeing from the back door!

Room Tip: We did peek at other on occupied rooms and they all looked great (didn't go in), but if it's...

Awesome. Perfect weekend.

I narrowed down this trip to 3 different lodging options.. I wanted something where I didn't have to really think, and where we could have a quiet weekend away. I read all the reviews that gave it 5 stars and wondered how anywhere could get that sort of rating. It is totally well deserved.

We have never stayed in a B&B and didn't really know what to expect. Bruce greeted us at the door, gave us a quick tour, and showed us to our room. We got ready for dinner, met Jessica, and chatted with them a bit about dinner options in the area. They gave us a recommendation that was exactly what we were looking for.

The inn is immaculate and equipped with anything you could need. Menus to all local restaurants, directions to wherever you want to go, a full living room stocked with movies, board games, books...

No TV in the room (YAY!) so you can completely relax. The jacuzzi for 2 is amazing. The ginormous walk-in shower was a nice touch.

Breakfast.. holy cow. I love french toast. LOVE french toast. Jessica made her Texas style french toast and it was by far the best breakfast I have ever had. Ever. Everything about breakfast both days was perfect.

Most importantly - we completely felt welcomed and at home. That was weirdly one of my concerns and I worried for nothing. It was awesome.

The area itself is great - Bruce and Jessica had some terrific recommendations for hikes, shops, whatever you need.

We'd stay there again in a second. Definitely stay at the Cabernet. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks so much Bruce & Jessica!!

Room Tip: If the temps are cool enough, go with the fireplace and jacuzzi room downstairs... even if it isn...

Even though my husband and I have been travelling to North Conway since 1990,this was the first time we stayed in The Cabernet Inn. We just wanted a quick getaway, and chose The Cabernet Inn based on value, and excellent Tripadvisor reviews. We chose the Standard Room, which was clean and comfortable, though small. Bruce checked us in promptly, showed us around the inn, and told us the specifics. Both my husband and I were surprised that the room didn't have a TV, although it did have an excellent wifi connection in all of the rooms. The room we were in was chilly, and didn't have a thermostat, although there were plenty of warm blankets on the bed.
It is clear that both both Bruce and his wife Jessica love the inn, and helping their guests. The inn is cozy and well appointed, with two common rooms on different levels. The breakfast met and surpassed our expectations. Bruce takes the orders and Jessica prepares the dishes. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. My husband and I wanted to explore the paths behind the hotel, and Bruce gave us a wonderful guide to the cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails. Once on the trails, you would never know that you were so close to busy Rte. 16. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent only one night at this B&B, but we would have loved to stay more if we had the chance. Everything is taken care of in the slightest detail. The atmosphere is very cozy and romantic. Coffe and tea are available during the afternoon, together with cakes and guests are invited to spend time in the gathering room downstairs or in the living room at the ground floor. Bedrooms are very clean and comfortable and they serve a delicious and varied breakfast in the morning.

We had a warm and informative welcome from Bruce and were delighted to find we had been upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi and gas fire, both of which added to the enjoyment of our stay.
The downstairs 'gathering room' is a great idea and we enjoyed chatting to other guests, some of whom had stayed at The Cabernet Inn before.
There was plenty of choice at breakfast, all deliciously cooked and presented by Jessica.
Bruce was also very helpful with ideas for how to spend our two days in this area. We visited some of the sights he told us about which we might otherwise have missed and were grateful for his trips as the scenery certainly is superb.
We had dinner on both nights at The 1785 Inn which is just next door. The food was really good. As the reviews say, watching and listening as the staff prepare a Caesar Salad is an entertainment in itself!

Staying at the Cabernet Inn was a very pleasurable experience. The Inn keepers are extremely helpful and friendly. In particular, their advice about where to visit in the area was invaluable. The breakfasts are high quality with a good choice of menu options. Our room was clean and comfortable and the inn was well maintained and tastefully decorated throughout. The only suggestion we would have that could have improved our stay would be to introduce a two sitting system for breakfast. Overall an excellent Inn.
