Pizza was too oily and the crust was over-burned
In total good food very nice service
But doesn’t worth the price

With a name like Flatbread, we were of course expecting a flatbread like appetizer. We found out that they make brick oven fired pizza's. They also make their own sausage and use uncured pepperoni which tasted the same to me. They use no preservatives and the food was really good at a good price.

The crust was as good as any I have ever had. Pick whatever you want on your flatbread, but the crust . . . just amazing and light and airey.

So, being from a Philly suburb, we weren’t sure what they exactly meant by flatbread pizza, but went because of the reviews. It was one of the best thin crust pepperoni pies we ever had. Location is tricky to find because it’s attached to the Eastern Slope Inn, and it doesn’t have much advertising from the road. It’s in a busy section of town and parking lot is shared so we did street parking. Has a quirky vibe to it, it’s not much to look at, the service is indifferent, but the pizza speaks for itself. The pepperoni was spicy but didn’t overwhelm the pizza. Because of the almost oval flatbread shape, pizza is cut into rectangular pieces for easier eating. Pizza ovens are really impressive and they’re open flame. High ceilings and fans help keep the restaurant comfortable from the oven heat. This was a nice surprise.

A favorite of our whole family. Excellent variety of not your everyday pizza. All ingredients are organic and delicious. Try the Kalua Pork with onions and and a touch of barbecue sauce.
