After visiting N. Conway many times over the last 4 years we can't believe that we have never stopped here. Food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The menu is quite large, and the staff are wonderful. We had the Surf & Turf, which consisted of a large sirloin burger overflowing with LOBSTER. The bun and fries were wonderful. Husband had the ribs, FALL OFF THE BONE delicious. So sorry that we could not go back and sample some of the other food, but you can bet when we return in October the situation will be rectified. Our server, SARAH, was a real gem. Pleasant and courteous and she seems to really enjoy her job :) Owners greet you at the door and when they say a 10 minute wait, they mean it.

“Nice ambience, but food was just ok.”

We visited this restaurant this week. We had the corned beef, and also the pastrami sandwiches. The description was great, but both were so salty that we could only eat half. This may be out of the control of the restaurant, but need to check on the saltiness...
Would probably give the place another chance, but would go for something else.

Another great stop in the valley for good eats, good people and a great "memorabilia" atmosphere! Sports fans will feel right at home! As long as you're a Boston fan! ;)

“Worth the wait”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

We stopped in for a late lunch. It was fairly busy and the bartender was the only person serving. We ordered apps, soup and lunch. It took a little bit, but well worth the wait!! French onion soup was the best!! Our app was good and one of the best burgers I've had! Highly recommend!!

“Sushi is adequate but not great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

Went to this restaurant on a recommendation from a local. It was a Sat. night and they had a 1/2-hour wait. The bar was very crowded but a table opened up in there so we grabbed it. We were told by the local earlier in the day that they went to NY twice a week to pick up the fish and the sushi was very good. First thing, the waitstaff knew nothing about sushi. When I asked for unagi she had to ask me what that was. Anyway, when it came, the sushi was adequate, but if you love really good sushi and have experienced it, you will be let down here. The soft shell crab in the spider roll tasted strongly of oil. I even suspect it had been fried earlier. The salmon sashimi was great, but the tuna felt a little grainy and odd. We got a cucumber salad in ponzu sauce, and the ponzu was watery and had no taste. The other rolls we ordered were ok but by no means great. I left there feeling that we had spent way too much for a thoroughly unspectacular dinner. On the positive side, the drinks were good. My vodka tonic came in a 16 oz beer glass and had plenty of vodka in it. My husband enjoyed the Tuckerman's beers.
