“Fun!”
Reviewed 1 November 2012

We stayed here for our anniversary and we had a blast! We stayed in the Wine Cellar, which was immaculate! The bathroom was the coolest part! Where else can you watch tv while you take a shower! I can't say enough good things about this place. We were given a tour of a few of the other rooms and those looked amazing as well. They informed us that the rooms that have hot tubs in them take longer to clean because they completely change the water, clean it and change the filter after every stay. This place is spotless! Very high tech! We enjoyed the fire pit at night and the view of the White Mountains is incredible. A very fun place to stay, but we can't do it often because of the price, even though it is worth the money.

We have camped up there before and drove by this place plenty of times. We finally looked it up and booked 2 nights there. It almost seems "cheesy" but staying there was not at all. The rooms were beautiful and very well decorated.

We stayed in the jungle room the first night. The room was awesome, the bathroom was beautiful, there was a full hot tub and kitchen area. My one complaint was the bed was horrible. Looks really cool, but extreamly uncomfortable. I wish they would skip trying to make it part of the theme and just get a regular bed.

The second night we stayed in the dragons layer. Very nice room. It was less expencive then the jungle room so it did not have as many extras. The bathroom was just a regular tub and shower. But there was a small whirl pool in the room. The bed was awesome looking, it hung from the celing. However it was another night of no sleep. My fiance is much bigger then me and the bed was tilted the whole night! We could not get it to work out. But really how many times do you ahve this problem in a hotel. It was an experince!

We intend to go back and stay in all the differnt rooms. We got a take a tour while we were there. The place is also amazing if you have kids. Sometimes they got loud during the day, but to be honest how can you tell a kid to be quite in a place like that! We could not complain about that.

Nothing is more beautiful than the fall in north Conway. To make a magical experience that was just as fun as a Disney getaway but very very relaxing I would recommend staying at the adventure suites.....we stayed in the jungle room, which our two kids 5 and 9 yrs old thought was the best ever..the staff was beyond nice and accommodating and the grounds are breath taking and very well kept up..thank you

Room Tip: All rooms we toured are one of a kind....families will be happy with any of the suites

My boyfriend and I stayed in The Jungle on 9/26/11. This was our 2nd trip to The Jungle and we also stayed in The Cave before as well. And we are on our way back to stay in the jungle this week! EVERYTHING about this place is amazing. The decor of the room is incredible-you actually feel like you are in a little hut in the middle of the jungle. The hot tub is huge and feels like it's part of the rock wall and waterfall it's built into. The led starry sky is also awesome-with shooting stars and all! The attention to detail is astounding, NOTHING like any other place we have stayed. With the option to grill dinner out back, or go to one of the great restaurants nearby you can't go wrong. The Jungle has a private back deck over looking the mountains and they have a camp fire every night for all of the guests. We LOVE The Jungle and couldn't iagine staying anywhere else on our yearly fall trip to the White Mountains.

Room Tip: We love The Jungle!

We had a great time the Staff is absolutely amazing!!! This is our fourth year staying here the room we stayed in (love shack) has so far been our least favorite but we aren't going to let it discourage us from coming next year and trying one of their other amazing rooms.

Room Tip: Loved the room but the bed was uncomfortable for someone not used to sleeping on a water bed! We sta...

I took my boyfriend here for his 25th birthday back in March 2011. We stayed in the Champagne Room, which I believe is now the Wine Cellar? I had never been to anything like this so I was a bit skeptical, but looking for something out of the ordinary. We had such an amazing time. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They showed us the Jungle and New York Penthouse which were unbelievable. Our view was breathtaking.

There was lots to do and lots of good restaurants. We took their advice for restaurants and everthing was awesome. Also, we decided on a whim we wanted massages. We thought it was a long shot but asked the front desk. They got back to us within minutes and had our massages booked that afternoon. Very accomodating. Not to mention, the chocolate chip cookies. Awesome. We relaxed in the jacuzzi while watching movies. I could go on forever. Cant say enough good things. We havent had a better weekend away, it was perfect. We are planning on going back next month for a few days.

Room Tip: All rooms I have seen look awesome. The Champagne Room (now Wine Cellar) is very romantic.

This is a clever place, one of a kind, with prices that suggest it'll be an over the top luxury experience. It is not, though the rooms are very distinct and unique. Paid between $360- $500 per night on 3 different nights over the course of the summer 2012 with 2 kids. Rooms: The Jungle, The Cave, The Owners Quarters. In sum, I would not recommend staying here ever if you place a premium on value. Stay once if you just have to try it out, then you can kick yourself and agree that it probably wasn't worth it.

General things: pretty large DVD collection, free, take as many as you want. Videogames however are $3 each for PS2 (that's all they have...). Very limited collection of games for kids 10 and under. Free popcorn available. Supposed to have cookies throughout the day -- these were there on 1 of 3 days we stayed, otherwise nothing. Breakfast is minimal -- amateurish yet not even homemade. Definitely worse than most roadside hotel chains. They do have Keurig in the rooms and are generous with free single serving options.

Basically, for hundreds of dollars, you get a distinct room design, geared to encourage you to watch TV/movies. That's pretty much it. Yes, they also have a large lawn in the back and a fire pit that you can (pay to) roast marshmallows if you choose.

Hot tubs are noisy and make the rooms hot. All rooms had sound systems and multiple TVs. You can't really enjoy a movie from the hot tub because it's just too hard to hear, not to mention not pleasant to stay in a hot tub for that long.

Room specifics: Jungle is definitely the best of the 3 rooms we tried. Has a nice bar to eat at, a section with a starry sky that is quite cool, and a nice modern bathroom. Bed is comfortable, and kids get a small upstairs nook to sleep in/ play video games. Private patio is nice as well, with jungle theme continuing outside.

Owners quarters is basically an apartment. Large (too large to be practical) kitchen, and lots of poorly used space that is unusable (so don't get too impressed by the overall square footage, unless you like to stand in big open unused/impractical spaces. 2 bedrooms are large and beds are fine. Bathroom has an interesting electronic auto bidet toilet, and a small bathtub, plus a very cheap apt-quality shower. The "video arcade machine" in the room is almost worthless. It's not really an arcade game, the controls don't work consistently and are non-intuitive (and again, not like the arcades), so the games are less than fun. In fact, it was tough to even select a given game, and the front desk staff didn't know how either. My kid's LOVE video games, yet we just turned the whole thing off after an hour of mostly futile attempts, followed by getting irritated at the noisiness. No patio, but can access the rear yard.

Cave is a cool looking room, but least practical. Very limited seating/tables so eating in the room is touch. waterfall shower is basically a gimmick that gets everything in the whole bathroom wet and precludes using any part of the bathroom in stockings for the entire stay. Hot tub - see above. Kids get two small rooms - each very stuffy for them. On front of building so no direct lawn access. Bed actually pretty uncomfortable. Just okay overall.

Long review, to simply say: you can have a better time for less money elsewhere. At Mountain View Grand or Mt. Washington Resort you can stay in a suite for these prices. There's less to do at Adventure Suites than those places, and the unique atmosphere here loses its novelty within a single night's stay. Unconscionable that they have such a rinky dink breakfast offering for such high prices. It's worth pointing out that the staff is consistently pleasant.

Room Tip: Jungle is the best of the 3 we stayed in. Kids agree with this assessment.
