Reviewed 12 August 2012

As we arrived at Nereledge, we met Steve and Laura in their car, and learned that Steve had recently had surgery on broken bones in his lower back! However, they were continuing to run their charming, quirky B and B to a quality and standard that reflected their determination to make sure their guests had a great stay.
The building is full of character, the rooms are small but more than adequate, and all 4 of our party slept really well in the very comfortable beds.
Breakfasts were cooked to order, with fresh ingredients and were lovely!
Steve then took the time to ask us (and all the other guests) where we were planning to go, and gave some great advice (although we didn't agree with his recommendation of Littleton!!).
A short walk into town, where we enjoyed 2 meals (again, as recommended), helped to complete our very lovely time in North Conway.
Don't go to the Nereledge if you want a character-less, functional, bland experience, but do go for a unique, quirky, interesting, comfortable, and friendly place to stay!

Room Tip: There were 2 couples in our party, and we shared the family suite, which was more than adequate - es...

Plastic mega-hotels are taking over the world, but there are still some characters left out there if you look for them. This Inn is one of them, long may it prosper! The stairs are crooked, the owners are physical representations of their great old building, it all just works. Great place. And they don't do those paste "waffles" for breakfast--I hate those things, they do real egg omelettes, french toast, pancakes, real food cooked by hand for you. That's a great deal.

It would be cool if there was an association of character lodges, inns and hotels in North America. Places where you could see your grown kids working and learning about life for a season, or places where you want to go back one day. I've been lucky to stay in a few such places, and this is definitely one. I'll be back.

There are fancier places to stay in the wonderful little village of North Conway but none in my opinion are better. Located very close to town, just a town minute walk away, the owners are the nicest people around. They will take great care of you in this cozy inn. It has something of a mountaineering reputation, and you may well encounter Everest summiteers in town to train on the nearby Mt Washington. But whatever your interests, this is an awesome place, can't wait to get back! It's a classic.

This place had everything we needed and the help we got from the owners in where to go, how to dodge traffic, and general advise about the area was invaluable. We'll definitely be back.

This is a nice old house, well maintained, comfortable, and conveniently located. Although its minutes from down town North Conway, it's very quiet. We opted for a shared bathroom in order to have a room at a lower rate. Although there were other guests using the bathroom, somehow, it always seemed available when we needed it and was always clean. The Inn has a kitchenette where one can put food in the fridge or make tea or coffee, a bright living room with large windows, and a toy room/den where Mom and Dad can sit comfortably while the kids play with the many toys that are available, and a wooden jungle jim in the yard.

The breakfasts are delicious! (Steve knows how to cook his eggs just right! )

The owners are very warm and friendly and incredibly helpful. Although we've been to many B&B's before, we love this one the best, as we felt so at home and relaxed from the moment we entered. Steve and Laura are wonderful hosts! We will definitely be returning.

Nice older house. Very close to the downtown area. Breakfast was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly, and extremely helpful with planning out what to see and where to eat during our days there. Would definitely stay here again.
