we could not have felt more welcome during our stay. 3 nights over memorial day weekend in the Angel's Wing, the most gorgeous view outside our patio doors. amazing, creative breakfasts... fresh cookies in the afternoon... and a short hop over to May Kelly's for afternoon cocktails with the locals...we felt like we belonged there!
thank you for a wonderful stay!

At the suggestion of a friend, we decided to see if we could put together a group trip to celebrate the end of the Winter. He and his wife had stayed at this Inn previously and they highly recommended it. So, off we went seeing if we could generate some interest amongst our group, and did we ever! We were lucky enough to get seven couples in total and took over the entire Inn! It was an amazing experience to have the entire house filled with your friends! But I digress…upon arriving you'll be greeted by Elaine who could not have been more helpful, pleasant and efficient in getting all of our parties situated in our rooms, and told of the amenities we could take advantage of while we were there. We stayed in the Rose room, and chose to have a bottle of champagne and some locally sourced chocolates in our room upon arrival. The room was beautiful and we had a magnificent view of the river and mountains off of our second floor deck. The gas fireplace provided heat and ambiance and we looked forward to utilizing the huge Jacuzzi which was an added treat. As we were all together as a group I had the unique opportunity to check out each of the rooms and I can honestly say each one was just as neat and clean as every other, and they each had their own special features, whether it be a deck, separate entrance, jacuzzi, or what have you.
After checking in and getting settled, we all congregated downstairs in the parlor and kitchen areas for some pre-dinner drinks and conversation. We chatted up Elaine, talked amongst ourselves and had a great time before walking next door to have dinner and drinks at "Mae Kelly's Cottage". What a perfect place for dinner and craic (I'll review them in another post) , and wonderfully located for those staying at the Inn. As luck would have it, Elaine and Trish (Owners and Innkeepers) were at dinner as well, so we really got a chance to share with them what a wonderful Inn they have. The next morning we went off as a group to a snowmobile rental facility in Fryeburg Maine that was suggested by Elaine and proceeded to have a blast on the beautiful trails. We spent the entire evening in the parlor listening to music, munching on the appetizers we brought and enjoying each others company. Again, to be in a beautiful Inn like this with a group of friends was an experience that we cannot wait to duplicate. Sadly we needed to leave Sunday morning but not before a delicious breakfast presented and prepared by Elaine which included yogurt with homemade granola, delicious egg and potato quiche and perfectly tart oranges. Very sad to leave, but sure to come back.
In summary, this Inn was everything you'd like in a romantic getaway, or a group vacation like we enjoyed. Excellent location with plenty of food, drink and shopping just down the road, many within easy walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the amenities were outstanding. The only thing better than the views, atmosphere and entire experience, was the service. Only a hug upon leaving seemed right, a handshake just wouldn't do it, even after just two days.
I would recommend this location as a great place if you'd like a romantic getaway, a dining and shopping weekend or week, or best of all….find a weekend when you can get a large group like we did and take over the Inn!!! You'll not regret it and we all agreed it may have been one of the most fun weekends we have had in ages! We will definitely be back…this time to canoe!

Room Tip: You can't miss regardless of the room!

My wife and I stayed in the Gabriel Bedchamber. It is an incredible value - A fireplace, a two person jacuzzi, and an incredible view you can see without even getting out of bed. It's located in Angel's Wing which gives the privacy of a hotel while still getting the B&B experience. We had a great breakfast made by Elaine (innkeeper) while learning about the history of the inn and it's decor. Elaine was, also, very helpful in choosing some places to eat lunch and dinner. We would definitely recommend the Wyatt House Country Inn to anyone staying in North Conway and would love to return. Elaine invited us to help ourselves to anything we needed in the main house but made herself available to us if we needed her. She made it a point to introduce herself to us and ask if we had any issues, suggestions, or special needs.

What a wonderful getaway! The inn has everything, whether it be a private room separate from the inn, or staying in the inn itself, each room has a bit of nostalgia infused in each room. As I roamed from room to room in the common area I kept finding little bits of uniqueness, with a touch of elegance. There where brownies and coffee and tea waiting upon your arrival as well as some port or brandies to warm your bones after a day of skiing or shopping. The central location of the inn makes it so you don't really need your car to get to the village or the lovely Irish pub May Kelly that I highly recommend to everyone. I happen to work for a 5 star resort and the Wyatt inn is right up there in my book!! The innkeeper Elaine is fabulous warm and inviting and makes one heck of a breakfast! Again not one detail was overlooked, starting with yogurt with fresh granola and fruit and ending with blueberry stuffed French toast with real maple syrup Yum! This is inn is for everyone, be it a romantic get away, a weekend away shopping with the girls, or a family retreat this is the place for you. If you are planning an engagement for valentines this is the place to do it!! I can't say enough of this place you simply have to experience for yourself... you can thank me later! thanks again Elaine simply FAB!!!!

My wife took me to the Wyatt House Inn for my 70th birthday and what a wonderful place to stay to celebrate any occasion. Immediately, Elaine made us feel like we were old friends. The inn has a certain warmth to it, but that's nothing compared to the warmth Elaine exudes from the moment you arrive. The breakfast was delicious, the inn was immaculate and our innkeeper was amazing. Don't pass this place by.

Won a gift card for a B&B and we decided to head North to NH (North Conway) I researched B&B.com and other sites and after reviewing comments & reviews we decided on The Wyatt. Very happy with our decision!! Elaine made us feel like family and the breakfast was fabulous. The Inn is clean and inviting with a Victorian charm. Our room (Stacie's view) was comfortable and had a nice view of mountains and the Saco river from our deck. ( It was January so no hanging out there!) Close to everything and next door has a great Irish pub May Kelly's! If we were to head north again the Wyatt House would be our choice!!
