“Great location and very family friendly”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

Our family of four had a great stay here for three nights. The playground and pools were enjoyed by our boys, and the location is great. Walking distance to a large grocery store for snacks/drinks, and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and gas stations.
The room itself was clean and large. The beds seemed a little older and soft, but were comfortable. It was very hot and the air conditioner was quiet and efficient keeping the temperature comfortable.
One night there was a massive thunder and lightening storm, and we hada great view from our second floor balcony.
The breakfast had lots of choice and was well stocked by the staff. The hot items weren't of the best quality, but the continental items were plentiful and very good. The breakfast room can get quite busy at the rush hours and seating is limited.
About a 6 mile drive to Storyland for the kids, and very close to outlet shopping, etc.
Overall, a great place to stay with young kids, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the secone level rooms with a nice balcony to sit out on.

The stay at Green Granite made our trip so much more pleasurable!!! Our suite was basically a one bedroom apartment. All the amenities we needed/wanted!! Beautiful patio, indoor/outdoor pool and a nice playground on site for my boys to enjoy! Amazing first time experience which will lead is back each and every year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Always a pleasure and this visit was no different. My one desire would be terry cloth robes . available upon request. These could be laundered like the towels and again only available if requested. We also enjoy and support the welcoming family atmosphere at this inn.The children and babies are adorable. My husband and I know the importance of young parents having a safe and supportive environment in which to vacation with small children.we remember being in their shoes so many years ago.Seeing them makes us smile.Thank you G.G.~warm regards~The Stensons

We were looking for a family-friendly place to spend the night in North Conway with our triplet granddaughters. Morgaine was extremely helpful, pleasant, and informed in booking our room on the phone; we had lots of questions she graciously answered. We got a reduced rate for Senior/AAA, but I think perhaps the Super Saver rate is less if you have that? I think, for the area, it was reasonable though nothing is inexpensive in North Conway in the summer. We were pleased to have the exact accommodations described Morgaine described to us when we arrived, and the cot we requested (for which there was plenty of room) was all made up waiting to be opened when we walked in. The room was very basic and average in terms of decor, but very clean and quiet. There was a larger-than-average compact room refrigerator and freezer, kitchen-size round table with two chairs, dresser with TV, two beds, coffeemaker, and bedside table. There are also two open closet areas in the dressing area of bathroom. We were in 229 - top floor, end of the hall on the far end in the back of the Inn. The a/c unit was quiet enough so as not to disrupt sleep (I am a light sleeper), the beds were comfortable, and we had a nice balcony though not a great view (barbecue area and indoor pool). It was very quiet both inside and out. Patti, the manager, was so cheerful and welcoming, and the girls were delighted with their special surprise from her (thank you, Patti!). The outdoor and indoor pools were clean, and the girls enjoyed the playground. The breakfast in the morning was served in a nice room with tables that were kept clean. The staff was good about keeping the food supplied and the tables cleaned. Pancakes, sausage, fruit, yogurt, breads, bagels, cereal, etc. - I would say there is something for everyone. There is an overflow parking lot at one end; on a busy weekend, if you come in late, you may have to park there. We did not have any problems, but I feel quite confident Patti and her staff would have been very responsive if we'd needed them to be. There is a computer in the lobby, a small gift shop, a comfortable TV area, seating in front of the fireplace, and all the brochures and local information you might need. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends especially those traveling with children.

Room Tip: Top floor in back at far end away from highway was very quiet.

We stayed for 1 night with our son after a day at Story Land. The employees were perfectly nice and accommodating. The room was ready early, which was nice since they were sold out. The outside pool was our son's favorite. We spent a few hours there each day. The indoor pool would be nice in the winter. The hotel is right on Rte 16, so it's not a beautiful view or quiet location, BUT if you are going shopping you can walk. The Mexican restaurant next door is pretty tasty as well. Breakfast was just OK, but not great. 2 out of 3 of us liked the beds & thought they were comfy. The bathroom was outdated, but serviceable. The room had a nice patio, but in 95 degree heat we did not utilize it.

I love this place. The desk clerk Mark was very helpful. I am not a fan of the new high rise Hotels. I love the old resort feeling. The FREE breakfast was great!! The pool, gym, and community area were great. The overall decorating, gardens and feel were wonderful. I just held my hands up and said "I love this place".

The only thing that we could find to complain about at this hotel is the location. If you want a quiet quaint location, this is not it. Surrounded by outlet malls and grocery stores, the traffic is heavy but everything else is great! The staff was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was clean and comfortable and the complimentary continental breakfast included hot items was a surprise! After a day of traversing the Kancamangus Highway and trails, the room was exactly what we needed. A plus side to the conjested area: many resturants to choose from if you want a quick bite!
