“Fantastic stay!!”
Reviewed 2 June 2009

We had a fantastic time here!! Room was clean and spacious. Hotel overall was quite busy but all the interactions we had with the staff were top notch. They were friendly and helpful at every turn. The pools were fantastic, the restaurant was quite good. Good value and quality. Brunch was super, and well worth the money. Great location. There was also a playground for the kids right outside. The only thing I could say negatively is that the bathroom was a tad small.

We will come back for our next trip to Storyland for sure!

This hotel is a great place if you like to shop. It's also near to all the scenic areas of the White Mountains so is well positioned. The room we stayed in was enormous and the whole hotel is very well set out with pool, restaurant, bar and other facilities. It is very much a faceless hotel, everything is fine but nothing particularly stood out as special. The staff were extremely helpful. We were doing a fly drive so I think this hotel lost out when compared to some of the smaller places we stayed out but I would recommend it as a good place to stay and there were no negatives about our stay there.

We stayed at the North Conway Grand for four nights during our honeymoon. We had opted for a Jacuzzi room which we found to be comfortable, spacious and clean.

Great location at the back of an outlet mall and at the edge of North Conway.

We booked this hotel and area for a relaxing start to our honeymoon and found it to be just that!

Breakfast was good each day and the staff pleasant. Ate in the bar one evening and were disappointed and did not try again.

Overall a good stay in a very plesant, quiet hotel.

Stayed from 16 march for 1 week . Booked thru Virgin Holidays. easy as usual with virgin & virgin atlantic. Collected car and a pretty straight forward drive up ( 3 hrs easy ) Toll roads thou so take a few 25 cents if travel from UK. The sat nav Dollar offer is not really needed as the directions are excellent. The hotel is big and comfy. Nice buffet breakfast, full US style with a waffle maker if u wish. Nice pool . Very clean and tidy with helpful staff. We could not fault it. Cranmore is 10 mins away. nice and easy slopes. We tried Wildcat and Atittash too. Easy to buy lift passes when u get there. Great late season deals on ( 9 dollar fri at wildcat ) ! Beat that in Europe. The shops at the outlet are great too, all in walking distance. Gap, Nike, Old Navy, Aeropostale. All great value plus top end stores too. North conway is a great little town too. All nice friendly folk. If you wish a easy trip with nice changes of mountains and nothing too taxing on the slopes u will go far to beat this and the Grand tops it off.

I stayed at the North Conway for a 3 night midweek break in March. Ordinarily it would have been a little out of my price range but I got a good deal through the web, Perhaps it's because it was midweek but the hordes of children other posters have commented on were not in evidence. The hotel has an excellent location right next to the Settlers Green outlet mall but I never felt that I was staying in the middle of a shopping centre. The buffet breakfast is highly recommended for value, choice and taste. Staff were attentive and the room was pretty much as I expected. Standard large hotel room. Extremely comfy beds though. The bar was always quiet whenever I passed - just a few guests but I ate there one night and was pleased with what I had. Good portions and reasonable price. The little extras such as the afternoon hot drinks & cookies and the DVD rental library make your stay a touch more enjoyable. Ive stayed at a couple of other hotels in the area but if I could I would return to the N.C.G.

I was disappointed because there were TONS of kids in the hotel, just running around-running up and down the hallways screaming... and when we wanted to go to the pool and/or the Jacuzzi-there were so many kids and they weren't being supervised or anything and there wasn't any room to enjoy and relax... kids were jumping in the pool and the jacuzzi, splashing everyone. We were in there for about 5 minutes then decided to leave. The hotel should have a floor for families with children... because there's no problem with children, but we were woken up Sunday morning around 7 because of children running up and down the hallway... so if you plan on coming to this hotel, you might want to do it during the week!

The buffee was pretty good and the room was nice-I really liked the shower and it was walking distance to all the outlets...

We are a UK family who have just returned from a weeks skiing at Cramore, staying at this hotel. Travelling with Virgin we were pleased with the location, the large room, the buffet breakfast [free with our package] and the great front desk staff. The location is right next to a retail outlet and despite the poor pound/dollar exchange rate we managed to get some bargains. The hotel is also well located for local restaurants and Cranmore mountain [10 minutes away] You do really need a car for this location. The indoor/outdoor pool with hotub was great for after a long days skiing. Hotel evening food was not bad, the usual burger/steak/fish combinations but plenty of variation within a few minutes of the hotel. The bar was good for meeting other guests and one of the [Skip] barmen helpful and friendly [the other one could do with a few lessons in bar keeping but that was the only member of staff I could fault. Anyone arriving on the Virgin flight into Boston will arrive in the evening and be faced with a 3 hour drive in the dark. Whilst the main routes are easy to follow arriving in Conway at night, in the snow after a long flight it could be difficult to find. Watch out for the Settlers Green sign at the traffic lights and if you see the Staples sign you have gone to far.
The afternoon hot chocolate and free DVD selection and internet use all added to the value. Great hotel and yes, we would return.
