My husband, small child, and Pug stayed in the one of the cottages and LOVED it. It is a little out dated, but for the price who cares? The shower had plenty of hot water, plenty of space In the room, and the attached porch was great!! We go to NH 3-4 times a year and always stay here. Heed our warning when we say book early!!

Room Tip: we asked for the cottage closest to the dumpster so we could throw out our trash when ever we filled...

The first time I came this hotel was in October 2013. My family and I lived in this hotel for three months because I had attended lectures at the Plymouth state university before I moved to Rhode Island. My family and I always choose this hotel if we go to Plymouth because it is clean, good price, delicious breakfast, excellent service, the owner is very helpful and kind.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent and I lived in the most of them

This was a gem in that it was homey, clean, updated worth the $. We had one of the cabins and had our 2 corgis with us so it worked out very well. The cabin was quiet and no shared walls to the dogs were not hearing noises in the middle of the night from neighbors. The fellow travelers were friendly It was Cabin 110, with a long screened in porch, 2 queen beds with kitchenette, good sized bathroom. The only odd thing was the shower knob was backwards so hot water turn to the blue cold water side. We did not cook but did use the fridge and ice from the lobby. The location was perfect for us to tour the lakes area and White Mts. We were able to load up and pick our hikes and drives for the day. Close to downtown and the yummy diner...homemade biscuits were delish. They serve continental breakfast fruit, waffles, cereal, coffee and juice stuff. This was so much better than the more expensive econolodge across the street that was $100 more. We went on 4th of July weekend so the high season and were very happy with our choice. We would stay here again.

Pilgrim Inn & Cottages provides a homey respite for the weary traveller. The costs beat anything I the area. The owner operators are welcoming very helpful. We have been stopping over or vacationing in the area for over ten years and our preferred home away for home is the Pilgrim Inn & Cottages while in Plymouth New Hampshire.

Room Tip: We love the cottages.

Spent a absolutely perfect week, during Bike Week, at The Pilgrim Inn in Plymouth NH...It was very clean and neat...The cottages(rooms) had new carpeting and it was very welcoming...when we left to go biking our rooms were refreshed every day and towels changed...the fire pit at night was very enjoyable with the owner ( Sonny) kept stacked with dry wood...The breakfast area was exceptional...with waffle maker and fresh fruit and bagels; and don't forget the cereal and pastries...lots of fresh coffee and juice....a very relaxing atmosphere...Will definitely return when in NH...

Room Tip: Two bed rooms and two bedroom rooms; cabins and larger facilities for large families

I have been to the Inn on 4 different times in June. The owners Sonny and Hina are great. They make your stay the best that anyone can. The rooms are always clean and you have a fridge and microwave. Big flat screen TV. They have a awesome breakfast coffee, juice. waffles. bagels ,cereal and much more. They have a great fire pit you can sit around at night time or day time if you want. Also have a gas grill if you choose to cook out. Would not stay anywhere else while in Plymouth. They also have free Wi-Fi that you can get a signal anywhere on the property.

This place is old and mostly worn out. The lobby area had been renovated and looked okay.

The cottage however was worn out. It was a stand-alone cottage from maybe the 1950's ? Some things had been upgraded while others had not. An example is the microwave and refrigerator. The room had a microwave and a full sized refrigerator. It also had a one piece unit from many decades ago which consisted of a gas stove top, small sink and refrigerator (very smelly inside). Newer things, simply put in the old worn out space, is not enough to be a complete renovation.

The room was somewhat clean, but things like dirty/corroded door knobs and clothes hooks gave me the impression of a dirty environment that had just been covered over in most places.

The single curtain in the bathroom was not only "see-through" material, but was not large enough to cover the window opening.

The worst part of our stay was the cost. The above items could be over-looked if the room was at $35-45 per night, but I think they are charging "new room" prices for their old and worn-out property. While the location is convenient to the Interstate, it has no other really redeeming factors, given the price.
