This is an older Hampton Inn but it is definately holding up to time. It looks like it has been recently renovated. The front desk girl who checked us in was very nice and friendly. I think her name was Erin and this was her fourth day on the job. She told us about the property and offered to assist us with restaurant reservations.

The was clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable but the fibre fill pillows were not that great. Wish they offered feather or foam pillows. Even though we did not eat their for breakfast it looked well put together and clean.

Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask to have a room facing west or towards the highway. Yes I did say that you want a room towards the highway. The reason will be there early morning when the east facing rooms have the sun coming from behind the drapes.

Our stay at this location was a very typical Hampton property. Helpful staff, room ready and typically clean. Although very busy and noisy during the Manager's reception, the hotel was quite.

Typical breakfast set up. The only issue we had was the "quirky" location. Set well back from the main road. Once you made the correct left turn, you have to drive to a shopping center quickly look left and then turn to see the hotel beyond the trees.

The hotel was fine, and if we had been on time for our wedding I would likely write a good review. Accommodations were clean, fine breakfast, decent price. We were advised to wait for the shuttle by 5pm for a 5:30pm wedding and arrived before 4:30pm to be safe. Despite checking with hotel staff numerous times as to the status of the shuttle, we were notified only 20 minutes before the wedding that the shuttle would be another 10 minutes (caught in traffic). We were very disappointed that there was only 1 wedding shuttle, they didn't look in advance about traffic issues, and that despite asking the status of the shuttle, that they could not give us enough notice of being late so that we could get a cab. The hotel staff at the time was not responsive, although in the morning the manager was very friendly and gave a discount. For future guests, I would suggest taking a VERY early shuttle so that you have time for a cab if an issue arises.

This was my second visit to this hotel and it was just as pleasant as I remembered it. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located near to shopping and restaurants and there is a complimentary shuttle to various point of interest. Wine and cheese is served in the lobby around 4:30 pm and chocolate chip cookies awaited us on return from our supper. I love that the Christmas Tree Shop and Bed, Bath and Beyond are right next door. This is a place I would return to again.

Originally booked for 2 nights but after seeing the room we cancelled the second night, we didn't find the standard was as we have come to expect at Hampton Inns. The ceiling was stained, brown scum gurgled out of the jet tub when the jets were turned on but the main complaint was regarding the bedding. The bottom sheet elastic was too small to stretch over the mattress resulting in it slipping off and exposing the mattress and cover, the top sheet was only just big enough to cover the bed so it was not tucked in at the sides, basically the bedding is cheap. We would not come back, even with the free beer and wine managers reception every evening, Hampton's slogan in the lobby says "if you are not satisfied we don't expect you to pay" but I am not holding my breath for a refund.

Room Tip: Check out the room well before you confirm the reservation
