Good place to go and have a few beers and food. We shared around stuffed mushrooms, potato skins, and boneless chi. First two were fine - the chix pieces can be skipped. I had the steak with baked spud with toppings including lobster. Steak was fine - cooked as ordered. Spud was darn good. Service good enough. Be careful if you go with a group. They might 'forget' to mention that they added a tip.

The food us great atmosphere is fun and friendly however the service is very very slow. Went with a few friends and waited 15 minutes for a table even though there were plenty of tables open. After being seated we waired another 15 minutes for our drinks.

The food, drinks and service we've encountered here on several visits has always been between "very good" and "excellent". Remember, we're not talking gourmet fare here so if that is what you expect, seek elsewhere. Truthfully, IMHO the 99 has always been an majorly upscale version of Howard Johnson's (HoJo's) and that is NOT meant as an insult, It's nice to know that when you see the "99" sign you can expect good stuff and this location has fulfilled that on several occasions for us!

Ordered a roast turkey dinner. The menu made it look like a turkey dinner. When the meal arrived... the turkey was covered in gravy...dark gravy...almost brown. While tasting it-it tasted almost like beef gravy. I ate around it and later a manager came by and asked how the meal was. I asked about the gravy and she said that they use beef gravy on their turkey dinners now and if you want chicken gravy you could request that instead of beef gravy. No turkey gravy was available anymore but the menu pictures should be changed at least. No correct gravy-no eating there anymore! What next...pork ribs in peanut butter? Don't get any more ideas 99....
