“A Must See.”
Reviewed 4 January 2010

The rooms are well kept, clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is to die for, and the view around the Bed and Breakfast is stunning. It was a very relaxing far from the hustle and bustle of the city place to go, and we hope to get a chance to visit again real soon. Its prices can't be beat. Stay here if your travel brings you anywhere close to here. It is a charming old home, but it is in perfect repair. Definitely adds to the atmosphere of the place.

Mt.Washington was a perfect , reasonable ($115) b&b for us to explore the Mt.Washington area. Mary Ann , the innkeeper, is very accommodating giving info on the area and preparing a delicious, hearty breakfast. The Goldfinch Room was quiet & very roomy w/ a comfortable bed & rocking chairs on porch w/ a great view of Mt.W.and the "Presidentials". You can even see the cog railway smoke as it ascends/descends Mt. W. (We drove up, but I would do railway next time. It's not that far to the station.) Go for a beautiful drive N. by the Androscoggin River & visit L.L.Cote in Errol-unforg.exper.
Have dinner at Libby's (open W-Sa) one of the best rest in the world. We couldn't believe a rest of that calibre-rt in Gorham-deserves J.Beard award. Try Mt.Wash. You'll b happy.

My husband and I were doing a fall foliage trip and wanted a good B and B to spend 1 night in. Right off the main hwy was Mt. Washington and we're happy we stayed there!.
We had a quaint little cozy room, nice size bathroom and our own entrance from the parking lot. Mary Ann was such a wonderful host, she made us feel welcome right away. We had a good hearty breakfast, fun conversation and a bit of a history lesson on New Hampshire.

My wife and I recently went up to New Hampshire for the first time and we stayed at this B&B. We had a great time and we really enjoyed the accomodations. The owner is really friendly and cooks up a storm. Great and different breakfasts every morning and cookies, brownies or other delicious surprises are found in your room each day. The rooms are spacious,(we stayed in the Bald Eagle Suite) and clean. It's pretty close to all the Mt Washington attractions. I would recommend it highly.

This was my first experience staying at a bed and breakfast and I really loved it. Mt. Washington B&B was cozy, inviting and authentic New England.

The Inn Keeper, Mary Ann, was very welcoming and accommodating. She gave us a tour, introduced us with some of the local attractions and then let us settle in. The next morning her and her niece set us up with a fantastic breakfast, raspberry and lemon pancakes with your choice of breakfast meat.

The room was a nice size as was the bathroom. The bed was fantastically comfortable. I don't think ive slept as soundly as I did here, in months. I was out like a light with no tossing and turning as usually happens in hotels.

The location was the best part. It was right outside of Gorham so as to still have a country feel, but not so far that it was a pain to run into town.

I really enjoyed my stay at Mt. Washington B&B. If you are looking for a vacation that feels like your at a home away from home, I recommend staying here. Sometimes it is nice to feel like you are on vacation... aka.. you want a hotel with a pool and restaurant etc.... but for a different vacation feel, try a B&B.

During our 2 week trip to New England we stayed in about 10 B&Bs and hotels. This was the best B&B. We received an upgraded room which was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Mary Ann was really friendly and helpful and produced a super breakfast the next morning. If we hadnt already booked for the next night we would have stayed an extra night there.

At 90 Dollars for the night we thought this was excellent value. Would recommend this B&B.

We spent one night while we were travelling viewing the fall foliage. We saw a moose eating leaves on our drive there and stopped to take pictures (as did many others). The B&B was comfortable and met all of our expectations. The breakfast the next morning was great! Maple syrup pancakes. Yum!! It was nice having a leisurely breakfast, talking with the other guests and Mary Ann. The surrounding scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed our brief stay.
