Fabulous!!
What a perfect place to enjoy these beautiful surroundings. The rooms are charming and immaculate, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food--the inn includes a full breakfast, and has also an excellent dinner (which is not included in the room rate) is superb. The setting surrounded by the mountains of the Franconia notch is spectacular!
One of the best inns we have ever stayed in!

My family returned to the Sugar Hill Inn in April. We thought our prior trip could not be improved upon but we were wrong.

The rooms continue to improve. We stayed in the Garden cottage and our son stayed in the Wildflower cottage. Both had recently been upgraded and redecorated. The bedding is luxurious and the furnishings impeccable. There is a refrigerator in each room (wonderful to store leftovers and then have a midnight snack) along with a nespresso and coffee maker in each room. My son appreciated the fact that there was a television in his room.

Chef Val's food continues to impress us - and we are a family of foodies! Breakfast is hearty and filling - just the perfect way to start the day when you plan on hiking (or skiing).

Karen, Steve and the staff at the Sugar Hill Inn are welcoming, charming and truly interested in making your stay the best. No question is a bother.

If you want to splurge, I recommend a massage with Susan. She will come to the Inn and will work those sore muscles so that you no longer ache.

We can't wait to return!

Room Tip: The cottages are good for groups or families.

From the moment I stepped in, to the moment I left the Sugar Hill Inn. I couldn't speaker higher of the Inn, my room, the view, and the staff. Loved it! :))) If you are coming to New Hampshire this is the place to stay. No doubt.

My wife and I had a great two nights at Sugar Hill Inn, the inn keepers were as awesome as the food. We loved the hot tub and Vermont Stove in our room. It was just what we needed. A perfect get away - hide away.

The Sugar Hill Inn is a fabulous getaway in the White Mountains. Rooms are impeccable with the New England charm and very cozy. The innkeepers are welcoming and knowledgeable and go out of their way to please. Fantastic dinner prepared by chef Val and had excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this place for first rate hospitality. You must stay for dinner and will undoubtably fall in love with Katie.

My husband and I went here for just one night in July 2012 to celebrate out 1 year anniversary. The room as great. Hotel nicely located just far enough fun all the fun things we wanted to do in the white mountains. Food was fantastic! We will be back!

Located on NH 117, this utterly romantic and scenic country inn in the White Mountains was a Utopian retreat for us during a long late summer weekend. On-site parking was convenient. Our host exuded hospitality as she met us at check-in. The common area had local tour books for browsing. Our cozy and quiet room, called Wildflower, was tastefully furnished and immaculate. We appreciated all the small touches that made us feel right as home, as well as the porch, private bath, king bed, and fridge. The entire property was well kept and butt-free. Our price-included breakfasts of omelets, muffins, fruit, and juices got us off to a great start. By day, we took daylong loop tours of the area — with cameras always at the ready. By night we stargazed and savored our solitude before sleeping. We enjoyed our stay immensely and found nothing to dislike.

Room Tip: Take a room in the main inn if you can get one.
