“Beautiful stay”
Reviewed 29 August 2011

Beautiful stay: I spent with my family 2 nights at the Bridges Inn as last stop of our visit in the US and Canada. It was a beautiful experience, probably the best of the 10 B&B/Inns we have visited during our journey. the 2 rooms we had were delightful, perfect in the furnishing and very quiet, the common areas of the Inn are beautiful. The breakfast was at the top. David is a really gourmet, he cooked us fantastic breakfast.

My stay at The Bridges in has been a delight. The decor is amazing with memorabillia in every room from the 1800's. Large airy living areas, Lovely bedrooms with wireless internet, coffee makers, bottled water, chocolates and the best breakfast's I have ever had. Today's was Fresh Juice, all homemade oat and honey bread, blueberry scones, potato latskes with applesauce, poached eggs with sweet pepper salsa, avocado and bacon, finished with basil and a fruit platter. I didn't have to eat until dinner. A Beautiful home in a beautiful location run by beautiful people. I only wish I lived closer to take advantage of this wonderful B&B more often.

Before booking the Bridges Inn we checked the reviews on Trip Advisor and Hotels.Com.
From the description, we had high expectations for a terrific stay. This bed & breakfast exceeded our expectations considerably. If you want a visit back to Victorian times, food fit for the Queen and the most gracious, friendly hosts then you must not miss an opportunity to stay with the owners, Susan, Nick, and of course chef, Dave.

Just an excellent experience all the way around. Its a laid back atmosphere with a professional touch. The breakfasts served by chef David were superb and the innkeepers just as friendly as can be. Highly recommended!
