“Old fashioned trip around the 3rd largest lake in the U.S.”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

We enjoyed the champagne brunch on board the MS Mt. Washington leaving from Weir's Beach on a Sunday morning, The price is steep, costing just over $100 for two seniors and one child. The buffet on board is another $16 per person, and a gentleman was playing live music in the dining room. For adults it's a great way to see the lake and islands, but kids tend to get bored on any trip over an hour, so small kids may not like it after the first few miles. My husband and I had taken the smaller Doris E. earlier for an hour ride and liked that as well, better for families.

“Excellent voyage”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Good way to understand the size of the lake and see some of the beach houses on the shore. Took the 10:00 2 hour tour to wolfeboro? Anyway enjoyed the trip and the voiceover giving some history and details. As for those complaining about the quality of the food, you are on a +50 year old vessel, if they have food at all be happy. If you want gourmet eat on land.

“a nice little activity”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

I did the one hour tour of the lake on the Doris C. It was nice and I got some great pictures. The Captain points out things of interest and gives you some facts about the lake. The views were really great and I loved just being on the water. I would suggest a hat and a camera. It is a great activity to do with kids, and I think it was fairly priced. The times are convenient and there are other tours and activities offered such as a sunset cruise and a dinner and theme night cruises. There are three boats to choose from and all offer different things to do. It was a nice time.

“Beautiful views”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

The Cruise was really beautiful. We saw a lot of Lake Winnie and really learned a lot of cool facts about the lake. Wear sunblock if its sunny....gets very hot on the top decks! There is minimal food available, which we figured so we did not anticipate on eating, but we did enjoy a few beers. But mainly we were there to enjoy the Lake and that we did!

“A little disappointed”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

We were looking forward to a night of dinner and dancing. Looking at the web they showed wonderful meals and live bands. We paid our 100.00 and were ready to eat and dance. Dinner was mediocre....chicken or fish in steamer trays, left the ship hungry. Then the entertainment, they had one guy with taped music on one deck and a group of people with taped music on the other deck. No bands. All in all the website sets you up for a big let down. The boat trip was ok, maybe a little long as we couldn't wait to get off and get some decent food.
